This is part of me getting out of the newbie forum and finding an answer to an age old question, does fasttech.com sell stuff that is counterfeit? I first purchased a eGo-C-Twist from a brick and mortar smoke shop for approximately $50. I ordered what I thought was the exact same thing from fasttech.com for approximately $12. The fasttech item does not have the same feel and doesn't seem to last as long as the other, but I could be crazy on vape fumes.

Have a good one

I would say anything they don't specify as being authentic is a clone/conterfeit item. Part of the quality question for these pieces is who makes them: Tobeco and EHPRO are two companies that come to mind that, for the most part, make decent clones...sometimes better than the original, but most times not.

Just so you know there are B&M's that buy from FT and resell those items in their shop.

That's a lot to pay for the ego c twist, I think. I got a genuine Joyetech Ego C twist, 1000 mah for sale for 23.00. For battery only. I read the genuine come in two battery sizes, 650mah, and 1000mah, the knockoffs come in 650,1100, and 900. That's what I read on one way to spot a fake. Also look at the head the genuine ones have a C E logo etched into the head and a don't throw in the trash logo etched into the head next to the CE. The fakes don't have this.also their are 5 ego threads on the joyetech and only four on the fake.on the genuine the center post color is richer and the fake is paler.hope this helps. Best wishes

most ego styles (if not all) are ordered from china in high quantity and branded as there own so you are litterally paying more for a name... i get most my stuff from fastech becuase i refuseto pay high markups from a middle man... some people say support local businesses which you arnt doing anyways, all that happens is the B&m store pockets your hard earned money from high mark up china crap... ill just get it from the source and wait for shipping

I wouldn't say they are all knockoffs, a lot of the stuff is made in Shenzen anyway, so FT gets theirs from the same suppliers aka the Mini Novas, Kamry K100 (Smok have their own version of this), Kamry S1000 etc., if it says Style in the description like Stingray Style, then it is a clone (copy) and if it says Authentic, again the Original is probably made in Shenzen anyway, and that is what they are selling.

The Copies (Clones) are made for people who cannot afford to buy an original and sometimes the Producer of the Original will sell the plans on to China once he has made enough money and goes onto other projects.

So you either save up and buy 1 expensive mod or get a clone and have 5 or more, I have a few clones, but mostly have shop bought known names 3 x iTaste, eVic, 3 x Sigelei and Provari.

Most of what is for sale on Fasttech is bottom of the barrel rubbish.

Call it what you will, cheap, nasty, poor products "pretending" to be something....

The DO sell some named items. They are the real deal.

Unless it says "genuine" it'll be either a copy, a clone, or whatever name is applicable. Even some "genuine" items are "genuinely" made by the same company but aren't the same specification as overseas.

I've had quite a few orders from FT. My advice is do your homework. Before you press the buy button, read all the reviews and discussions for the item first. I never buy anything as soon as it appears on the site, I wait a week or more to see what others think about it first. As long as you're careful, you can't go wrong. Out of over 70 items I've had from them, I'd say I've had a 2% failure rate. The long posting times are a pain though :D

In my experience the majority of items available from FastTech are knockoffs, and like has already been said, they will specify if the item is authentic.

I have a friend who does not have a large vaping budget and he likes to buy his equipment on FastTech. I believe the site and the products they sell are great for someone who is just getting started and needs a beginner set-up or someone who has a limited budget. But if you can at all afford it, there is nothing like the build quality and craftsmanship of a good authentic piece. That drop in price is for a reason!

Also, I have heard all kinds of horror stories about FastTech shipping taking forever, but in my experience my friend's packages have all come within 10-14 days, which isn't bad at all.
