I've got a Chinese knockoff of the ego c twist and a kanger protank mini 2. To start, I know the twist is not the issue because I have tried my friends VV battery and the problem persists. I purchased the protank mini from the same site (fasttech.com) and while the site said it was authentic, I am not sure I trust them. (I also purchased kanger coils labelled as authentic and I'm pretty sure they weren't.)
Anyways, I've now got authentic Kanger 1.8 omh coils (Purchased from discountvapors.com so I assume they are trustworthy) and I can't go above minimum voltage without getting a serious burning taste. At 4.0 volts I get burning within 1 or 2 hits, I've tried this on 3 coils. Yes, I've tried turning the plastic caps on the coils upside down.
So, do I have a bad/fake protank, or is it normal to not be able to run 1.8 omh protank coils at 4 volts? What should I do?
