If any of you, like myself, order off fasttech to get affordable vape gear, watch out. Customs have all but halted all sales of any ecig related gear. If your order contains ejuice, it is guaranteed to be sent back to fast tech and you'll never get your order. I ordered a few new attys and a new pro tank a month ago and I just got it today. I emailed fast tech an they stated that customs is running every order through multiple checks from X-rays to hand searches and if your order contains ejuice it will not be shipped. I posit this under legislation because I feel it is an example of new laws coming into effect that will eventually kill vapemail. What right is it of theirs to refuse to send these products overseas? And by them I mean customs and the US Government. There's nothing corrosive, nothing explosive or flammable. It's the beginning of a new set of regulation that I think is going to hit us all hard when it becomes fully implemented.

What is it about the E-juice that they are flagging it? Like you said there is no hazard, it just seems a bit much if you ask me. I don't know why they seem to take everything away from the people. E-cigs are healthier and better then Cigarettes but yet they haven't passed new laws on cigs in years besides Fire safe restrictions and smoking bans in some areas. I do believe that E-juice should be considered a tobacco product in general, an should be not sold to minors. This all kind of reminds me how they banned Flavored Rolling papers because it was " trendy " to kids because of the " candy like " Flavors. Besides the Gov. Banning Ecigs in general us vapors will always have the flavors we like. I speak for myself but if they Make laws to regulate the sales of some flavors of E-juice. I will learn to make my own batches of E-juice an create flavors I love myself. I should do that anyway, It would be cheaper and who knows.. Maybe better.

I think you're misunderstanding FastTech's reply. It's the port in Hong Kong that's gumming up the works with 100% x-ray requirements on all packages. This is something that was legislated in Hong Kong a couple of years ago, but is just now being put into place.

As Retired1 has posted, this is a measure being implemented by the Hong Kong outgoing Customs, for safety reasons. It follows IATA standards and especially applies to loose li-on batteries.

There is a lot of updated information here on ECF about the measures themselves and the delays some customers have been experiencing.

Many countries, however, already have bans or strict controls on importing nicotine.

has anyone done a search on the forum about fasttech yet

We have been thru this back and forth ad nauseum..

Where did you see that "juice" was being stopped...there are linkys showing they were x-raying for loose batteries and kicking them back to the shipper, of which fasttech would turn around and send them China Post vs China Airmail (new orders of loose batteries immediately go "slow boat")...it would then be loaded on "slow boat from China" vs "Fast plane from China"

It still get's shipped it was just re-routed not thru airmail because aircraft in case of fire just can't pull over on a cloud and put it out before catastrophic damage happens...catastrophic damage+600mph+30K feet=bad bad bad thing!!!!

Search function on forum...trust me...your orders are being shipped, it just might take "longer" due to international regulation change
There was a massive backup due to Chinese national holidays, largest recorded typhoon this year parking itself on China and Hong Kong...

Here's the post in their forum about the shipping difficulties:
HK Post: Delay In Outbound Air Mail Services (10 Sep 2013) **Updated on 9/22/2013**: FastTech Forums

UPDATE (9/22): We confirmed only lithium batteries are being classified into contraband goods. If the package didn't contain any lithium batteries, it still can be shipped. But please aware that it might still has the delay problem as Hong Kong Post still scanning the packages one by one.

2. Packages *not* containing e-liquids/lithium batteries will ship normally via SG post at regular speed. However those shipped via HK post will get delayed by 5 to 7 days (as we're told) as they queue up for the new mandatory x-ray scans.

If you have previously requested us to put you on Hong Kong Post only list, you may want to consider getting off that list to avoid the added wait time at Hong Kong Post.

Again, until this loosens, there is a higher chance for packages consisting of only e-liquid and/or lithium batteries to be returned to us by shipping carriers. When they are returned, we will fully refund customers and cancel their affected orders.

We'll monitor and update as this situation develops.

We apologize for this and thank you for your understanding.

This would make sense... But my order with li-ion batteries were shipped and to my door in a week. The batch of attys and tanks I ordered a few days later took well over three times that... the staff that answered my inquiry stated that the post was jammed because customs was checking all the mail and because there was so much of it the shipping times were being delayed

They've (Fasttech) got a banner up at the top of their site today mentioning that liquids, batteries, and lighters are being held in customs for a while. Emphasis on the batteries being the issue - I suppose the liquids might qualify as a perfume product? Either way, that plus the national holiday equals a bad time to order from Fasttech.

Old orders of batteries before the customs change were thrown on a plane...at 600mph...

Unfortunately due to some poor packaging or the occasional defective battery some caught fire on those planes...one plane landed but suffered damage, another wasn't quite so lucky and two pilots died (thus the hiney hole slamming of the brakes on "loose" batteries by the international shipping consortium folks)

Almost immediately FT started re-routing NEW orders to China Post, which are thrown on a slow boat at 12knots (around 18-20 miles per hour) see the extra days...now the packages that piled up at customs to be ex-rayed are not being confiscated...they are being scanned and "returned to sender" when batteries have been seen...then immediately sent to China Post, and put on the slow boat...

The packages ARE moving...but the air mail stuff that got caught in the big ole pain after the rule change, the FIRST national holiday, the Typhoon, then the NEXT national holiday may be delayed for at least 2 or more weeks...but they WILL be shipped

Relax...your packages will get here but there was a master CLUSTER HUMP there for a week or two...

This has been going on since the beginning on time, they will randomly check packages and the majority will go through. How do you think the people in ecig banned countries are still vaping..........lol The FDA had stop large shipments of ecigs from coming into the US at one time, they were eventuality released. I dont think its going to affect us on smaller level packages, most of them will get through. Ecigs commercials are starting to appear on TV so i think they are warming up to the idea that its actually an alternative to smoking that actually works. the problem is that Big Brother wants to classify it in a way that will benefit them...tax, tax, tax, the american way. Doctors are ...... off that all the BS they put out didnt work like gums, patches, inhalers, and pills. Now here comes a simple but effective device that works and put a dent on their bs efforts.
