Wow, their ohms are all over the chart [bad QC]. I guess I'll try them as they come but am hoping they will work on my out & about KGO's. I am glad I have a Vamo too. I also purchased some real heads & glad I didn't order them from FT.

Thanks for the great opinions.

I just get em here too, free shipping and they come with a good head. Price difference is worth getting the good head with it imo, $1 meh (if you order a few, 5.99 if just 1) Plus if youre buying evods probably want to buy some heads with em anyways and they are cheap there too

also the link sometimes changes itself to say 2.4ml, if you see that ignore it lol =)

Happy with FT Evods here too!

I planned to rebuild the heads before I even decided to buy them, so I wasn't worried if the heads would taste bad or not. However, I did test each before I rebuilt them, and one tasted bad no matter what (Bad wick taste, not oil or burn). They were fully washed in soap and water (Main parts) before use, and I ran the heads under hot water for a long time too, also spaced out the coils evenly before testing as well.

Anyway, yes I think they are a good deal, especially if you can rebuild the heads!

No matter what you do, rebuild, or use Kanger heads, ect be sure to wash them out good before using.

The only thing I really dislike about them is how difficult it is to unscrew the base, it's needs some knurling!

Dawn sounds like the stuff to use. Then, maybe a quick rinse with everclear.

Thanks !

I recieved a Vivi-Nova with my VAMO from fasttech and it had an oily taste as well. I used dish detergent to clean and then soaked them in Everclear to help get out any residue. Just to make sure, though, I then soaked my mouth, throat, and stomach in Everclear(mixed with Hawaiian Punch). I didn't taste a residue from the Vivi-Nova anymore, or my dinner, or anything else for a couple of hours.

I'm blown away by folks talking about a nasty, oily taste during first time use.

I don't bring a new coffee mug home from Dollar Tree and pour fresh coffee in it. I wash it, first. With hot, soapy water.

Why would I not do the same for a brand new tank?

ya, I took a sniff and ran right to the sink, defiantly would not just fill this and go.

on another note a metal ring feel out of mine and IDK what its suppose to do. I just left it out and it works fine, no leaks. wondering if it was just something left over

Well here's my update, got the 10 pack delivered.
Inspected them all, only visible fault was on the white tank, it had one of the seals missing on the tank base. Checked the resistance of all 10 attys - readings 2.2-2.5 ohms across the range except one which was 3.8 ohms. Checked the coils all fine, 3 coils needed a little work with a pin, but the 3.8 ohm head had two extra wraps on the coil. Washed all the parts out and put them back together.

Did a dry burn on two setups filled with a known good juice and happily vaping them now. No leaks, funny tastes or any other problems at all.
So out of the 10, I have 9 that work/will work just fine. The 3.8 ohm head will go with the base missing the seal and the white tank into my bits and pieces box for spares (white is my least favourite colour :D).

A 90% success rate, is pretty good for the price I think. They'll be even better when I need to re-wick them with cotton

I really like this thing, vap production is crazy, good flavor. I like this more then the protank.

x2.......

I would trade my ProTank to two Evods in a second! However, I think that my local place is charging way too much for them. I'm just a few weeks into my vape transformation so I don't have a lot of experience, but I think $14 is kind of ridiculous......

$14 for a Protank is awesome. The 100k or so that paid $20 on the first run are drooling...

Not sure what your particular issue is with PT compared to an Evod, but if you want the same vape on a PT take a small piece of teflon tape and wrap it around the threads, then poke a hole over 1 of the airflow holes. That will give you about the same temp and draw of a stock Evod.

Personally I like the airy draw of the PT and adjust my T3, T3s and Evod by drilling out the 3 air holes on the collar.

That would have been great! LOL Locally, I gave $24 for my ProTank, and $14 for my single Evod!!! Believe it or not....it's true. For whatever reason, I do prefer the vape I get from the Evod. I've put off trying to adjust the air flow on the PT for too long. I'll have me FT Evods here next week, hopefully, and I'll report back on how they compare to the locally bought one. Thanks for the advice.
