there are some complaints here regarding receiving dead or not holding the charge.

well I got 2 of these batteries and seem to work just fine and also got a 900ego starter kit for my father in law and I am not sure about that one, he began to used right out of the box and worked fine for 5 minutes then no more hits, the button still lighted but didn't worked, so i took it out to charge it but the green light on the charger that is supposed to go red until it is fully charged didn't change so I'm still waiting for the verdict on that one, I will call him soon and find out

Fwiw, I've bought -2- 900's, -1- 650 and haven't had any trouble yet. My only complaint about them is that the basic ones don't have the different colors on the button indicating the present charge of the battery.

i think these are the only ones which are working perfectly.

To clarify.. the charger from FT for the ego batteries doesn't change from red to green when fully charged?

A friend of mine, that I recently converted to vaping, purchased the disco battery from a us vendor about a month ago. She paid like 19 bucks for it and already, from where she holds it, the sparkles are rubbing off :(. I hope that isn't the case for the posters a few pages ago that just ordered some from FT.

I just placed an order on the 11th, sent them a message yesterday to see when it will be shipped and they responded this am within a few hours. Now I see the crystal batteries are being sold in singles, so I must go back and order the color I wanted when they were being sold as a 5 packer on the 11th. Damn you FT with your great prices and selections :)

Sounds to me like he's talking about the firing button.
Joyetech eGo-C battery buttons change color at 50% and 25% from light to dark blue.
Twist doesn't and Upgrade doesn't in unregulated mode.

None of them are the Bytech kind. Just the generic no name batteries.

I have 2 seperate usb chargers that I use on both the computer and with the wall adapter, they both turn green when charged. They do seem to take a little while longer to charge than they state on the site though. The 2 900's have lcd readouts and show a full battery when charging is complete.

Edit:

Oops, sorry. I misunderstood. I meant the led button on the batteries themselves, some change color depending on how much life is left. My 650 doesn't, not sure if any of the other kinds do.

the firing button is blue on all fasttech batts once you plug them in to the charger the light up and stay lighted all the time (this is weird)
but I was talking about the starter kit that I bought the led indicator on the charger didn't change from green to red once the battery was plugged in, I'm not sure what to make of this
