Fasttech shipping question

Hey all

maybe one of you can help me out. Ordered from fasttech Jan 11th. As of the 24th tracking showed it arrived in Canada. Since then no updates at all and I can't use the tracking number at the Canada post website.

So will it stay like that and just one day show up at my door or will it update once it moves from customs in case that is where it is hiding now.

After several orders, it seems that with the most obnoxiously long ones to arrive, 3/4 of the extra time was because of customs/Canada Post. I'm not sure what the hell the deal is with Canada Post, but yeah I haven't gotten any tracking on my last handful of orders from fasttech either using Singapore Post for the first leg of the journey. To be honest, even when I did it would be wildly wrong.

One of the last ones I had tracking on said it was in customs, sat that way for well over 2 weeks without ever getting updated, it just showed up at my door eventually.

On the flip side. Two days ago I ordered a hot air re-work station through amazon (just a cheap one) and I'm about to set it up. Last night I ordered a few reels of resistors, caps, mosfets, a couple OKL chips, switches, and a bar of solder last night from Digikey and 13 hours after placing the order its here...I was a little astonished actually. Definitely the fastest shipment I've ever received on free shipping.

Just over 2 weeks isn't long in Fasttech to Canada time. I would worry in a couple of weeks.

As long as you didn't order batteries (takes 4-6 weeks) or juice (illegal), you should see it in a week or two IME.

Nope, no batts or juice, Just my Aspire Atlantis tank and right behind it another order for a pack of coils for that tank.

Thanks for the heads up, I will wait for a week or so more. In the mean time I will look at the pic of my package on the fasttech site and dream of my precious

Canada post only tracks international epackets now, you can thank the conservatives for that one....

Generally it takes about 20 days for most of my shipments to arrive, I usually wait about 30 days after it has entered Canada to open a ticket, my last shipment a velocity clone took 50 days total(only time I've had problems)....

It's probably sitting in customs right now, nothing Canada Post can do about that one, ever since they cancelled the international shipping service has gone way way down

Well that explains things, I was wondering why the CP Website said it doesn't track international orders grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Fasttech takes patience. I have had orders take more than 6 weeks. Mostly on customs delays. My last orders after christmas arrived in about 3 weeks.

You can track the packages thru the CP website. Enter the number twice.

Use the CP tracking site enter the tracking number twice, it will show you each time it moves. Will not show where it is but you will be able to see movement of your package when it happens. Not a lot of help but better than nothing. Scooped by corn flakes.

There is no information available for this international item. Tracking by Canada Post is not a feature for this product.

I use 17track for my international orders. Its worth a try?
