My Vamo was delivered on June 21. Using today and said Lo, so I changed the battery and it won't start again...really upsetting...over $53.00. Just opened a support ticket and we will see what happens.

Okay, really weird. After giving up and letting it sit for an hour or so, it came right back on. Glitchy!
This might sound silly, but did you click it to turn it back on? Unlike some of my other mods, when I put it a new battery in the Vamo I have to do the 5-click thing (actually it's 6 with mine for some reason).
Did the 5 clicks. If it happens again I'll try more as suggested. I am a little nervous about failure. I wonder if fasttech will take it back if I am better off getting another one.
Also, you may want to try stretching the spring on the bottom cap out a bit to be sure that you are getting a good connection if it happens again 
For some reason, my vamo takes 5 clicks to turn off and 6 clicks to turn on. Usually... If I pause before that 6th click to turn back on I have to start over.

my guess is it's one of the issues mentioned above. both of my Vamos occasionally count to 5 a bit differently than me.
before i sent it back, i'd just remove the battery and retry clicking it on. do that about a dozen times. spend 5 minutes trying to replicate the problem before going thru the hassle of returning it.
Mine takes 6 clicks to on .. 5 for off.. been beat up, dropped, kicked, knocked over.. Oh you name it.. 7 months in use now!!

mine used to do that when it worked I could stretch the spring and it would be fine for a while over time it got worse and finally died if you can send it back for replacement I would
