EVOD2 takes the Kanger dual-coil units:
1.5 ohm: https://www.fasttech.com/products/3...entic-dual-coil-unit-for-kanger-clearomizer-5
1.8 ohm: https://www.fasttech.com/products/3...entic-dual-coil-unit-for-kanger-clearomizer-5
(like yours, mine came with a 1.5 coil installed, but the box of spares they sold me at the shop were 1.8 ohms. So when it came time to buy more from fasttech, I got the 1.8's again. I linked them both for you, so you can decide for yourself which ones to get. They also come in 1.2, 1.0 and 0.8 ohm versions, but they may or may not work, depending on what kind of ecig battery you are using with the tank.)

...where are you seeing this type B & C nonsense? I've never heard of that before.

None are any good from FastTech. Perhaps if they are authentic and truly are they may be ok. I order coils from there but tear them immediately apart and rebuild them. Most coils just have silica wick stuck down the sides in little pieces and nothing through the coils. They are not even worth vaping them. I have tried. Best to find a reputable dealer on this side of the pond and pay a little more money for them. But then again I can recoil and rewick just about any coil and make them way better than anything bought all ready built. FastTech prebuilt coils will just lead on to frustration then come on here saying Evod 2 coils suck. Then what do people think? Good luck to you. CHEERS!

FastTech is pretty good about telling you when something is a clone ("[whatever]-style") or not ("authentic [thing].") The ones I linked are labeled authentic and the verification code checks out on the 1.8's I bought from them earlier this year.

And sometimes their "styled" coils as just as good if not better than the authentics. Sometimes not. Sometimes the authentics are bad, no matter where you buy them...

Sad but true...

Folks can say no all they want but.....
Have you ever noticed over the years when new toppers come out they work really well. Then over time the coils do not last as long and the head that was so good in the beginning does not vape as good. Companies sell so many that the company that makes the coils out source them to other companies. Original company that supplies them still want to make money so the outsourcing companies make them and cut corners so they can make some money also. They can call them authentic all they want but why do some show up different but they call them authentic? Been at rebuilding stock coils a long time. How can I rebuild them and get twice the vape over stock coils?
