That does look like a nice one Z. The one I have is not LED, so I didn't even bother putting batteries in it.

Should have seen my wife's face when she walked into my DIY/mod "lab" and seen me rewicking some Stardust.:toast:

She stopped laughing though when she got a hit off of a 7 wrap 2ohm special! Helps to see:vapor:

The LED that it has Isn't Surface of the Sun Bright but it works Pretty Good. It runs of 2 AAA Batteries which I like because I have Lots of Rechargeable AA and AAA Batteries Laying around.

The Thing that Makes it for me if the Flip Up Lens, Lens. I've bashed me Knee too many times Walking around with one of these Magnifiers on because the Coffee Table was a Blurr Smudge.

32 gauge nichrome...carefully spaced under magnification. I actually fit 10 wraps of 30ga in, but it was 1.2ohms so I chucked that one.

32ga or 34ga with 2mm silica wick either single or stacked is the way to go IMO.

You'll know you have a winner when the entire coil glows end to end simultaneously on a dry burn test fire.

Big Screen D, you go exactly the same way as I do :) Powerful glasses create magic: you can see everything and feel young. We, old modders, have a lot of abilities, but sometimes have not an ability to see what we done :)
To be serious, additional big glasses are very, very useful if you make something like a heater.
