It's been 2 days now since I rinsed it, so I'm guessing it should be dry by now. Still no fire. I also just pulled out the pin in the clearo to see if that would help... unfortunately it didn't (dang, my hopes were so high for this to work!) I pulled it out quite a bit, enough so that it wouldn't thread onto the battery. I pushed it against the battery just enough so the threads caught and continued screwing it on. Maybe this one was just a dud? Who knows. Too bad I don't have a multi-meter :(

Sorry that didn't help Pans! :(

Yeah, unfortunately duds do happen, and it could happen with almost every part of ecigs from any manufacture. Please, Please don't give up! Even with an occasional headache, it is still better than cigs! ;)

My first clearo is going on a month fine. You need to rinse them out and dry burn them to clean the gunk off the coil. The juice in the clearo will go from a nice almost clear (with my flavor) to a brownish color after a while.... this is all the burnt gunk starting to collect, so it is time to clean and dry burn. I have a new clearo on standby, plus some cartos If I have any catastrophic failures.

You know something that I've noticed? I actually prefer the taste of my liquids when I vape them on my old M402, dripped onto the atty. Liquids just don't taste nearly as good to me anymore now that I'm using an eGo-C. I wonder why that is...?

Liquids always taste better if they are dripped directly on an atty, because of the filler in cartos and the wicks in clearomizers. Also, M402 batteries are higher voltage than eGo batteries.

There's no filler in mine; I just fill the cartridge and slide it into the cone. The voltage is probably the reason behind it. Can you recommend a different PV that might help? Or should I just try to find a battery with a higher voltage?

Right now I'm using a Kanger T3 clearo with eGo-C batteries. The taste is not quite as good as dripping on an atty, but it's close. It's the best clearo I've used so far.

Just an update on what I'm doing now: Placed an order for a bottom feeder mod, a Vapage Vmod XL. Supposedly atomizers have a nice taste, but dripping looks to be a sit at home to do type of thing - ah ha, this is where the bottom feeder came into the picture! It seems to be a nice pocketable system that will last all day without carrying or messing with anything else - it has an 18650 battery and holds 9ml of juice! I'm sure this will be my main device from now on, but I still can't wait for the SI T3's to arrive. I think I'll like having the combination of these 2 devices!

I've read reports of the neck on the juice bottles breaking on these after a month. Be sure to order some spare bottles.

One reason I have steared clear of the large tanks is a fear of the juice leaking. Highest I went is 3 with the t3 and viva. I still love my ce3s. Just getting lazy filling them. The bottom coil on the ce3 is the shiznit.

I had a love/hate relationship with those Clearos. Love it when it works and hated it when they didn't. Consistency is a problem with them. 70% of the time they work, then the other 30 they would leak or something without any rhyme or reason. Probably the reason SI wants to eventually move on from the X2 Clearos and onto the T3's which I must say is simply amazing. They are a game changer!
