This problem is kinda freaking me out, so I'm just shelving this batt for now. My battery is randomly turning itself on and off. At first I thought it was the button sticking, but its going off when its just sitting upright on my table, connected to nothing. I have no idea what kind of safety issues Li-ion batts have. Not sure what to do right now, any advice on stopping/fixing the problem?

I've been suggested to try cleaning around the button with alcohol. Mine has stopped flashing, though. Has yours?

I'm not using a LR atty, just the stock 510's or mega cartos. I would have just tried cleaning it, but nobody has answered this for me, http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/battery-issues/131072-batt-cleaning-q.html. Also not happy that I'm down to 1 atty because of this (have a few cartos though.) It fried the other one I had while I had the cart out to refill.
I was lucky I had an LR on there - you can hear those things across a room when they fire!
To answer your question, a manual eGo is completely sealed - as in there's no hole in the metal at all, and no glue. You can see if you just look at the connector. It's a solid metal circle, right? You can take a q-tip and wipe that sucker out with alcohol as much as you like.
I took a took a cotton ball soaked in alcohol and also cleaned around the button. I've stuck it in front of a fan for a few minutes to dry the button out well, and I'm going to try again.
I'd only do this if you battery is no longer firing, though. I don't know if it's dangerous, but if it's still randomly turning on I wouldn't risk it.

I guess pulsing is a good word for it. It wasn't as bright as the solid light when you press it. It mostly stops doing it if I set it down upright and don't touch it. I think its only gone off 3-4x since I did that. Last night I would have been happy if the pulsing stopped for a minute.
Now about the actual battery. It does have a hole in it, unlike my other 2 eGo batteries, which is why I asked about how to clean it. I'll be uploading a crappy cell phone pic in a minute because I don't have a normal camera.

I have never seen that before on manual eGo's or 510's. Manual Kr808's, for example, do all have the hole, but it's glued. But this is unfamiliar to me. I don't know if it's truly sealed or not. If it isn't... juice leaking might have been the problem for you.
Are they from the same kit? Very weird... If you happened to get that battery from a vendor with a long guarantee, I'd get in touch with them.

I think you might have gotter some juice inside the battery and that is whats making do that. You can try seting it down with the battery connector downward maybe the juice will dran out.
