Faulty Nautilus contact pin

I own four genuine nautilus tanks. All function properly except for the latest one that I purchased. It started leaking the first time I loaded it up up with my DIY Blackcherry Cream and fired it up. Thought that it was the coil from all I've read here. I was putting a new coil in when the spring loaded contact pin fell out. Put the pin back in the base and it seems to be working properly for now. Anyone have this problem? Can it be fixed? I know it's going to leak again.
