I have been tail-piping all day cos I've been vaping SO heavily due to work stress!!!!!!
If my AFS doesn't arrive soon, I am going to attack my postman (and not in a good way....8-o)

I know EXACTLY what you mean!
I have been working very intensively today and vaping constantly - so much so, I have been tail-piping cos I can't be bothered to keep removing my cart!!!!
Not recommended at 6v tho, cos the atty gets a bit hot............8-o

nothing like chap lips........lol jeesh i bet if you cut a big enough hole in one those cartomizers rubber caps and put on the tip of your attie maybe that might help with heat... I learned that one on the V4L forum.... but yea try and see if that helps.... I might just do it myself...........until I get the AFS hurry up with the 510 attie one i cant wait to see this one

Lisa...I saw that you are vaping at 6V..Tell me please how are you doing this ?I have a burning taste always ..I push the button only 2 secs max and the taste is hot aluminum...Am I doing something wrong ?My liquids are Medium..I dont know if this is a problem

well i tried it and it works pretty good. Just lay the rubber cap flat and push down till it the ends bubble out. cut the tip like it was a stake or chicken and there should be a big enough hole to drip through and it helps with the heat transfer still warm but not hot.... i hope this holds me over until I get the AFS.... I hope this help LIsa work stress sucks.



actually i tried two ways first above and I seem to get condensation in between the attie and the rubber cap so try instead cutting the sealed half off then place the cut part on first and have the other part up. that way it creates a stoping point and there is no build up of condensation. it works great...... sweet it even works on my 801 attie and im getting more vapor from it as well... interesting......I couldn't get it fully on but it works... sweet no more carts... HURRY UP WITH THE AFS IM GOING NUTS..... IM PUTTING RUBBER CARTS ON MY ATTIE FOR GOD SAKES.... lol

For me 6v isn't ideal with a 901 for the same reason you said - however, it is do-able if you almost flood the atty and take short drags. You might have more success with an 801 (I don't like them) or a 510 (I use these at 6v mainly now).

Alternatively, the AFS should help and Imeo's HV atties will make the most difference when they are available.

hehehehehe, I do appreciate the help, honest - just there are occasions for that kind of protection and this ain't one of them...

Sounds like you might have one of those other situations coming up soon though......

grimmer, I was doing that with my 901s and 510s for a while but like you said they get condensation behind them and slip off. I went with the J118 cart. You can take the inside filler part out just like the 801 cart mouthpiece thing. The end part fits both the 901 and 510 pretty good and you have a mouthpiece without the cart. I have had good results with this set up for about two months now. I actually just ordered some of the Orange round 901 carts to try that out. I will probably just cut them down a little inside... I drip only so no filler materials here. But I must say I am getting tired of pulling the mouthpiece off every time I drip... COME ON AFS>> !!!
