You're right, it's absolutely the wicking. I just looked at my bottles again and the tank that works fine is the one with 20/80 liquid in it, and here I thought it was the tanks and not the liquid. Well, at least now I know what the problem is. I'll just start ordering 20/80 or 30/70. I just wish I hadn't just ordered $70 worth of 100% VG liquid. Oh well, live and learn I guess.

You can thin the 100% down with a little distilled water or unflavored pg. Just trying to keep you from wasting liquid.

I never took to the popular Protank, though people have added air flow connections and love them still. Aspire and Evod were my first fairly successful tanks --and I don't use all VG. As the 2 I mentioned are vast improvements, I think you may take to them well. Of course, it could be a good idea to dilute your liquid with a drop (per tank) of distilled water to thin it out a bit, if you continue to have problems.

I vape low voltage and have had very very few problems with those 2 tanks and hear they can handle up to 15 or so watts and still wick well. Much to my surprise, I also like the Kanger Aero's, but I have no idea what their so called wattage limit is.

I'm still fairly new at this but it seems like I too enjoy vaping mostly at low voltage/wattage settings. I'm also looking to experience some different, relatively inexpensive tanks in addition to my Nautilus Mini & new eLeaf GS Air. I've had no issues with either one of those but recently stumbled on what looks to me like a great sale on some older Kanger gear.

During that sale I already bought an Aerotank (V1?) for $11.20, Aerotank Mega for $14, and ProTank3 for $7. Those came in the mail yesterday and I haven't tested out any of them yet. I was wondering if y'all might have comments/opinions on these tanks and the prices I paid for them. I'm asking because the sale ends today and I kind of want to go back to order one more of each of them. Worth it or just a waste of money?

I know, I really should've asked the forum before I busted out the credit card the first time but I'm bad/good at impulse purchases! Btw, I'm using both the Aspire CF VV+ and iStick 30W.

Thanks!

I can't speak to the Kanger tanks you just bought but since your rockin the istick 30watt and are looking for some new vaping experience try an Atlantis or Subtank nano with a 1.2ohm coil. Either of those will definitely be fun.

Thanks for the reply, Bammer, I really appreciate it but I'm honestly not looking to try much of anything below 1.5ohm right now. Had a few tastes of 1.5 & 1.2 before and found it just way too hot and harsh for me. Guess I'm just an old wimp, although I do see quite a few other forum members who also prefer a cooler, less assaulting type of vape. Then again, who knows, maybe the shinyitis GAS will get to me again and I certainly could give the subtank a shot. Just not now.

Adding...yes, I know the GS Air is 1.5ohm but I just loaded it up for the first time today and haven't used it much. A bit warm but, really, it's not bad at all.

Cathouse, I am with you 100%. I try and stick with 2.5ohm coils as often as possible and really don't like my vape to get hot and burnt tasting, plus that way if I do want to crank the power up for a particular flavor I can, or, I can turn it down for an occasional sweet dessert flavor, which I couldn't do with an extremely low resistance. I know the whole "sub ohm" thing is big right now, but it's just not my scene. Wish I had checked the forum yesterday, I would have definitely jumped on that sale. Someone on the forum just turned me onto the iClear30B, which I have really been enjoying. I like the protanks a lot, but they really don't wick well with 100% VG, which is what I now use the iClears for now. At $15 they're a nice tank.
