Well I am sad to say both of the INW flavorings I tried are NOT for me. The Vanilla for Pipe is all about a French Vanilla and I only like that flavor in an Ice Cream. And the Dark for Pipe IMHO is not a for me flavor mix either.:( The good news is I already have 3 all day vapes. :img:So anything more is just playing.

Sorry to hear that Dixie. Taste is subjective tho ;)

All hangsen flavors from rt$
4% tobacco (Just Hangsen Tobacco)
2% Red Usa

2 weeks later a really good flavor. Peace my favorite is double ry4 tfa but it is the only exception. 5 years only vaping tobaccoish flavors unless i was in a pinch.

This sounds like a good'un (for Me!)
Red USA is My Fav. Hangsen so far....with RY1 & RY6 runners-up! Not yet tried the 'Tobacco' flavour tho'...
I'm on 99% NETs but still experimenting with Hangsen for use in My Next-Gen when out-&-about.

Vicman and nostradadus got me to thinking about my Hangsen Arabic. Here's my version.
Hangsen Arabic 3%
Rustica TA 2%
FA Oak Wood 2 drops in 8ml

Um,um good.
:vapor:

Went back to revisit the Arabic. First time I mixed it up, went 7% stand alone and WHOA!!! NO!!!. Just too spicy and Cocoa_ish. Went down to 3% stand alone and it was much better but still can't come to terms with it. I guess I just don't have a taste for it. But I can see how many would like it. I'm thinking maybe:

Hangsen Arabic 2 drops in 18ml
Rustica TA 3%
FA Oak Wood 2%
lol!

Rustica TA 2%

That's about where I stop with the Rustica. I've used it at .2% (that's point 2%, about a drop or two) with some fairly heavy tobaccos, such as the HS Arabic. The Rustica really shines through the mix even at super low percentages. I like it a great deal for being able to put that little, or large, "lift" in the mix with stout tobaccos.

Thanks to everyone for contributing to this thread. I have been looking for new tobacco flavors to try in my DIY mixes. I've been doing DIY for about 3 yrs., but have only found a handful of tobaccos that I really liked.
My favorites:
HS - #5
HS - Highway
FA - RY4 Double
FA - DK Tobacco
I want to contribute by adding my favorite ADV. I have this loaded in one of my setups at all times. When I came up with this mix I was shooting for a premium juice experience. I think it turned out very good even though it does require a long steep to reach its full potential.
No Name Juice
HS #5 - 8%
FA - Molasses - 5%
FA - Hazelnut - 3%
WL - Acetyl Pyrazine - 2%
FA - Butter - 1%
60/40 PG/VG base
Nicotine - 9 mg/ml
After mixing the flavors and base I transfer the mix into brown glass bottles. I use 2 oz. bottles and make 100 ml per mix. I cap them tightly and place the bottles on a hotdog cooker with the temp set for 140 deg. for about 3 hours. After removing them I take the caps off and let them cool to room temp., then recap the bottles and put them in a drawer for a min. 3 weeks a month is better. I know that sounds like a lot of nuttiness but the molasses seems to blend with the nuts and just turns delicious. The butter does take a bit of the top off and adds lusciousness. Enjoy I hope you like it.

Should anyone try this recipe I would love to hear your review.

What would you all recommend to give some smokiness to a tobacco without giving it any ashy taste?

I round about, half heartedly said a couple of posts back that FA Black Fire was added to a mix for ash.....not really true. To me, it's smokie.....not ashy. If I want the ash, it's INW DNB all the way.

So, FA Black Fire would have that smokie, campfire quality if that's what you're looking for in a concentrate.

@jhhollier - " This is smoke flavor without tobacco notes. If you want to mimic the effect of actually smoking, you probably need this flavoring. FA Black Fire is most often used with tobaccos to add an authentic smokiness to the exhale. Get your tobacco recipe to your liking, then add Black Fire in small steps, just 0.25% or 0.5% at a time, for the realistic effect of real smoke on the exhale. It does not alter the tobacco flavors - just adds smokiness. If you use too much, you'll taste hickory flavor." That was taken from a review by a person I trust. Hope it helps. ;)

Re. the 'Black Fire':-
I guess this just shows the subjectivity of taste buds!
I recently bought a 4ml. sample of this, after reading myriad comments talking 'bout 'smokiness' 'campfire' etc.
...I just get a caramel-y note! F'Art's w/s says bonfire with a hint of toffee (or something like that!!:)), sadly, My palette gets it t'other way round!

Yup. Taste is subjective.

I just went to my mix calculator and changed the settings from grams to drops, just to see how many drops of Arabic I liked in my favorite mix. It came out to 30 drops (3.3%/.59g) for an 18ml mix.

Hehe.....guess I like me some Arabic, huh? ;)

Especially the clove.....do not pass GO......do not collect $200.....don't even try to recycle the bottle for use at a later time......trash bin it!

I vaped a clove flavored juice once.....[emoji15] It sounded good anyway. I think I tasted and smelled cloves for two days. Lol

Yup. I have to soak whatever RTA or RDA in vinegar for a day to totally rid it from the clove taste and smell, once I'm ready to move on to another juice.

Yeah, it permeates. Lol Clove has it's place and ejuice ain't it. Lol [emoji28]
