The INW Gold Ducat is sweeter (honeyish) than the FA 7 Leaves. You could perhaps experiment with some of those 'leaves' to get a mix that's more to your liking.

Recently i add either FA Perique Black or Desert Ship (more spicy, more clove) to all my mixes. The 7 Leaves does contain some Perique and Oriental (together they get close to Desert Ship), the Burley adds some sweetness to it. Then there's also some Fire Cured/Flu Cured and Latakia in it. The remaining 'leaves' i'm not sure.

I'm really into grassy Virginia with spice ATM. But it changes by the batch ;-)

Thanks for the input!
Gold ducat reminds me more of Layton blend (if my memory serves me correctly), I taste more citrus than honey, but it definitely is sweeter than 7 leaves.
Desert ship is one that I swore off long ago due to the very unique taste. I once watched a video of a guy mixing desert ship "by color" and he must have dumped 20% plus in the bottle to mix..... I gagged a little, but that's just my opinion lol.

OK, so I just watched the video again and maybe it was an exaggeration saying 20% but I'm leaning heavily on 10% at the minimum.
IDK what the rules are for posting videos now but if you use the interwebz to search videos for "mixing desert ship" I'm pretty sure you'll find it. There's actually a lot of quality in his production, and also a distinct lack of sarcasm font on the internets as my last comment proves.
At any rate, desert ship is for the brave and I salute you. I think I finally got that taste out of all my gear after a couple of years.
Danny seems to be the "man about town" where tobacco flavors are concerned.... I wonder if I can bribe some info out of him with this bottle of NET cocoa blend flavoring from MVJ....

Can't say I ever tried it but send me a link to it and I'll take a look. I do mix my own NET's and add chocolate to many of them.

Mixing by color though that's a first for me. Wonder what he does with mixes that stay clear mix those by smell:)

Well, I checked and it appears Diane no longer offers the savage cocoa blend. I will admit that it's been awhile since I've ordered any NET for my mixing so I'm not sure how long it's been gone now.
It's pretty stout with more of a cocoa note than chocolate (not sweet really) and I didn't care for it at the time I bought it.
I do, however, have about 15ml left in my vape stash and I am presently conducting a test to see if the flavor is still OK. I'm pretty sure it will be fine since I still use my own extracts that are about 3 years old, but the name of science and all that.
If it sounds like something you might be interested in, surely I could figure out a way to put a bottle in a mailer and send it on. Theoretically you would need to PM me with your info and all that but I'll see if my psychic powers are working annnnnnnnnndddddd nope.
Gonna need your info. Only if you're interested.

For my buds, TFA chocolate has more of a cocoa note than chocolate except no trace of bitter and great for adding a hint of chocolate to a mix. Ymmv and all that.

If you haven't tried the SC (China) line yet, I'd suggest giving them a try. I'm pretty sure they must start life as a TA because the tobacco notes are very authentic, well, to my buds at least, and they're not real bad coil gunkers at all.

It's not nessessary I kinda know what your going for. A good base for that would be a nice virginia brightleaf NET and hangsen coca if your looking for that non sweet chocolate note. The brightleaf is a nice lighter sweeter type virginia NET. I make it using whole leaf brightleaf tobacco. It can be gotten here if your into making nets.

Brightleaf Virginia Flue Cured Tobacco Leaf - Sweet Tobacco Leaves For RYO, MYO, Pipe Tobacco, Hookah Tobacco, and more.

The American Virginia is a nice one also, less sweet, fuller bodied vape with a darker note.

A 1/4 pound for $4.99 will make a year or more worth of net.

If your looking for a good net extraction process read this thread.

Tobacco extraction using heated Ethanol

As far as the SC (China) line of tobaccos I agree that there are some nice tobacco SC's to choose from. I'm particularly fond of the chobia. It has some nice cigar notes to it.

SC Black and Mild is one of my favorite tobaccos.
