I still got some INW Garuda that I mixed in June, it just gets better with time. Its a superb vape now. tobacco vapes are always very long steep times for the best results. I use to be antsy to dig into a new mix but now having backstock its not quite as much of a issue any more. ;)

I just checked my 30ml bottle of Garuda that I mixed on 21st May! I mixed the Garuda after seeing your recommendation AlterUrEgo that it's good mixed with INW Desert Ship! After a little taste, I think the Garuda is too dry for me on its own, but I'm planning to try it with the Desert Ship quite soon :)

Thats the one i was going to order and try next because it seems many rave about it , may hold off now lol.

Being hyped about something then spending $$ and turning out disappointed is a terrible feeling but i guess everybody goes through it.

Yea I may try a diluted version at 2.5% and see if it changes. I might have over flavored it.

I mixed Inawera am4a a few months ago at 3% with 2% DNB and I hated it. Left it for a month and still hated it. Left it another couple of months and I tried it again last night. Really enjoying it now, been using it in my dripper with rayon wick all day today, guess this one needed a long steep time for me! It may be worth you leaving it a while longer to steep?

It's not the first time I've experienced this with INW concentrates either. I think in future I'll just use them very sparingly, I find some of them so strong they almost make me gag when first mixed. With the exception of the INW Cavendish, which I find way weaker in flavour (and more enjoyable) than the others I've tried.

I've got some Cavendish to try to. I was hoping it wouldn't be weaker than am4a..might have to make it at 7%

The site is blocked by ecf. They're a little insane about perceived competitors and won't allow the links. It's silly, but it is what it is.

My understanding is that a mod here heard that site was posting stolen recipes.

Their call. The recipes there are user posted though. Tough to blame the site. Also, there are other forums blocked from ecf. I think it's silly, but that's just me.

I mixed my Cavendish at 3% with 1% DNB. After a long steep the flavour came through and it was a great taste. I'll mix it at 4% (& 1% DNB, I like ashy) next time :)

I love me some dnb mixed with Hangsen desert ship and a touch of AP

I made a special mixture of 18 mg nicotine Virginia tobacco for a relative trying to switch to a vaporizer, she doesn't like their liquid at all. I started out at 18 mg and found it easy to switch, I got no flavor but the nicotine coming through removed the urge to smoke a pipe. I'll have to test a little out before giving it to her.

I would make it 12mg instead of 18mg. The reasons are simple..she will be able to take more hits before getting Nic sick..(stomach ache, sweats, dizzy, hot flashes, etc.) Are all symptoms of nicotine overdose.

At 18mg she's going to be feeling the Nic fast and probably a little to fast imo. This is an assumption though and I may be wrong but from my experience start at low Nic and raise it if she wants more of a bite

More than a few smokers, trying to quit the stinkies, will start with 18mg, 24mg, or even higher, and do just fine. The type of vape gear the new vaper is using will have as much to do with nicotine uptake as the liquid concentration does.
I myself was a pack to pack and a half a day American Spirit Light smoker. And it wasn't until I moved up to 18mg that I was able to quit the analogs successfully.

Yea the gear matters more than the nicotine percentage.

    What gear is she using?

I think she has a relativity simple vaporizer, with a cartridge that can be refilled sold at a high cost that includes buying liquid from them. I'm going from my experience trying to quit. What ever I tried it always ended up me smoking my pipe for the nicotine. I was told by a friend to use 18 mg and after vaping I didn't feel like using the pipe. I don't want her to try vaping and then pick up a cigarette which I believe she does with their liquid. If she is happy with the tobacco liquid maybe I have a chance of getting her to buy a better vaporizer like the Eleaf Pico

I have several INW, FA, HS and (German) CdD flavours, all mixed with 50/50 3mg nic base, steeped for at least 4 to 5 weeks, after initially heating them in a yoghurt maker for 8 hours (40 degrees C), and then giving them a thorough shake. Also breathing and shaking them almost once a week during steeping.

I've been making mixes with them for quite some time, more than once inspired by this thread, even started writing down my recipes at some point, with ratings, trying to discover patterns, pros and cons, but so far never really made "the" perfect mix for me.

But now i'm beginning to think i have a temporary winner with this recipe:

    20 ml HS Highway (3.5%)
    20 ml HS Concentrated (3%)
5 ml FA Desert Ship (4%)
4 ml FA Périque Black (4%)
1 ml FA MTS Vape Wizard (3%)

HS flavours make a very mild fresh cig bulk, the DS and Périque spice it up, and the MTS finishes it off with thickness, slight sweetness, almost creamy. I might have to adjust the ratios and percentages, but this is getting really close to what i always had in mind. Thought i'd share this in the best "favorite tobacco flavoring discussion" thread ever.

Now back to mixing my newly arrived collection of INW flavours i ran out of:

Hello all, a little advice if you could,

I recieved my Hangsen Desert Ship from vaping zone. It was sold out everywhere else. I also ordered a bunch of hangsens from BVC but they're not here yet.

I mixed up a few 10ml test batches of HS DS.
It tastes terrribly perfumy.....did I get a bad batch? This is my first Hangsens

I first mixed up a batch @ 6% ......super perfume
    then 4% - same
then 2.5%, better, tobaco coming thru, still a bit of perfume. Should it taste perfumy after just mixing it?

I can smell and taste a delicious tobaco in the background, but the perfume over takes it. I can tell it has a very nice tobacco taste in there! but the perfumey uggh..any suggestions

It is rebottled with a vaping zone label.

Just wondered if the perfume taste is normal and eventually goes away with steeping. I only ordered it from VZ cause it was out of stock everywhere. Guess I could've ordered from RTS. Anyways I have an assortment coming from BCV hoping those will be excellent.

Maybe I'll just order from BCV now.
Thx for any input you folks have.
