Hey all! I'm looking to expand my rda collection with something that has top airflow. I currently have a couple of Velocitys, a Marquis, a Plume Veil, and a Derringer. I like them all for different reasons, but right now, I love my Derringer for its simplicity and flavor (but not for the spitback). Thing is, I tend to overdrip, so I want to try out a top airflow rda and see how it stands up to the others listed.

Anyone have any particular recommendations? Right now, I'm leaning towards the Vector. What say you, oh experts of all things shiny?

The Vector is nice. Would be amazing if they made a 2 post deck. It has huge post holes that play nice with gauges like 28.
There's also the rogue, mantra, hastur, darang, Venturi, CATS, and a few others that never really took off I am looking at you Pulse RDA.

If you haven't used one yet, a little overdripping is no biggy with these, but if you go a little wild, you will be drinking juice.

Another suggestion since you mentioned the Marquis, Have you tried a Veritas, Hellfire Raptor, or narDA? These are all similar but different.

The Veritas is a Marquis that does not leak with a little more airflow. The Raptor more air and less leaky. The narDA is the odd ball, similar maybe a little tighter airflow then the Marquis, and similar to the Veritas in unleakyness, huge juice well if you go easy on wick tails.

There is an aftermarket cap for the Vector that lets you use your own drip tip. I think I paid 15ish for it. I believe they call it the comp cap not to be confused with the Jaybo comp cap. This is a AFC piece that fits onto the Vector sleeve

I have a vector on the way actually. Only other top air atty I've used was the Sapor and that thing is just garbage. Does anyone have a link to where I can get a JayBo comp cap for the Vector? I don't want to buy a Wismec Indestructable solely for the top cap.

Never used the vender but they show available here.

You might want to check out just how good the Vector is by itself, before you buy the JayBo comp cap.

My favorite top air flow atty is the Aeolus v2, the draw of that thing is incredible. It also has the best flavor of all top air flow attys that I've tried so far. They also just came out the Aeolus Lite which will probably be your biggest bang-for-your-buck when it comes to top air flow attys.

Since you mentioned the derringer, you should also look into the Thump RDA by Praxis and Thump MFG; it's a bit shorter than the derringer, has a split center-post instead of a 3-post deck and has top air flow. I find it to be a lot better than the derringer: better flavor, less leaking, easier to build and it has the same amount of air flow and can hold a few more drops of juice.

I liked the Rogue; but then a friend had a Darang RDA and the flavor was outstanding! HIGHLY recommend it.
