So sick of the news media, "any flavors other than crap are marketing to kids!"

Yes this isn't directly related to ecigs, but since so many people are vaping flavors, I see this as another grab at ecig flavors. When will be people wake up and realize big government is bad for people?

What ever happened to letting people govern themselves, and oh I don't know, parents should be responsible for their own children?

Also their argument is moot point since, tobacco products are 18+ carded as well as 100% of ecig companies that I know of card! Let the people self govern themselves! We generally do a good job without help of government!

Personally, the nature of the industry will mean there is no way to stop people from vaping. If they outlawed the devices they wouldn't outlaw metal tubes, batteries, wicks or metal wire. Even if they were douchey enough to outlaw e-liquid being sold with flavors you could add your own which would be inconvenient but not prohibitive. They're not going to outlaw flavoring/extracts. This is all media being media and catering to emotional response for $$$. Besides, regulation would mean not only that Congress would have to DO and agree on it. Not likely.

These guys make me want to start a group called "Analogue Smoking Sucks" or "A.S.S." for short. Just to hear an anchorperson refer to it...

Flavors ...
All those opposed to e-smoking (for whatever reason)
need to have a flag to waive to justify their reasoning.

Save the Childreeeen

It makes absolutely no difference if the reasoning doesn't make common sense.
It's all just a big distraction ... Controlled Confusion
They hate smoking and even "the appearance of smoking".

We could win the argument regarding flavors
but they would just drop that flag and wave a different flag.

They LIE and then we feel obligated to prove the lie is not true
then they come up with another lie ... and then we have to prove that's not true
then they come up with another lie ... and we have to ...
It never ends !!

This routine is nothing new ... those opposed to e-smoking
have a long history of waving flags to justify their obsession against e-smoking.
Remember the "Anti-Freeze" flag ??

Yes. And every time I go into Baskin-Robbins, I order two scoops of flavor-free ice cream.

This made me laugh more than it should have. Great point. :)

As for flavored tobacco being more common, I'm pretty sure I know a reason. Back in high school, which wasn't too long ago, people would get their hands on them and fill them with other things, things that are illegal. I'm not saying every underage kid is doing that, but I'm sure they make up for a certain percentage.
