I've been using my AGA-T2 with an fc-2000 wick and 32g nichrome wire for about 3 weeks now. The ohms are at 1.8/1.9 and stays there. I run it at 4.1 volts. It has been doing fine with good flavor and vapor production. My problem is that today I notice a slight tingling/burning sensation on my tongue and a weird, seemed metallic but maybe not, aftertaste. It was all of a sudden. The draw before had been fine and then all of a sudden on this draw got the problem. There is carbon buildup on the wire but it does not seem excessive at all. I thought about burning it off and starting over but I hate to do that because of the break-in period of a few days for this setup.

Any ideas?

Hi mike, I'd suggest a dry burn but not sure if the 32g can handle it. I'd suggest you get some 30g so you can dry burn every now and then without dismantling the setup. You'll get more out of the FC with thicker wires in general.
About the so called break-in period; I hardly hear that anymore... pre-EHW (Elias Hot Wrap) era. Try to grab one of the wrapping methods in the main FC2000 thread and put that behind you.
best of vape!

Dry burned all the time with my 32awg kenthal. Just make sure if a hot spot pops up to take care of it. Out of all the coils I done with 32awg kenthal and dry burns I only had one pop doing so and thats because I was waiting on the coil to fix the hotspot dry burning it and it didn't just got worse and held it too long. After that I just make sure to poke to help out and works great.

like dsmooch mentioned a slightly thicker wire will produce a better flavor and hold up better overall. but 32g will work and is overall easier to wrap on ceramic. the most important thing with ceramic is getting the wire really tight on the wick, and have found that a thicker wire is just more stable. I always check my coils with a magnifying glass, sometimes I think its tight but looking closer will tell me for sure. even a tiny gap between the wire and wick will affect the flavor. if you absolutely have no gaps then your wick or coils may need some tlc. depending on your wattage or juice you vape build up can occur. I find that at higher wattages these build ups don't occur as much then lower wattages, or some juices have more sweeteners then others. you don't really need to dry burn totally dry like with ss mesh, just hold your mod vertical and let it fire, eventually the coils will start to glow, let them glow as you blow air across them with your mouth until they look clean. you can even undo the pos & neg and take out the whole wick with the wires intact. rinse with water and brush off with tooth brush, then torch everything together till it glows red hot, this will clean the whole wick and coil. this is what I do evry once in a while for a good clean. the only issue is the 32g wire, as you torch it it may pop from the torch. if you had 30g or thicker you could just let go with the torch and not worry about it. good luck
