I heard as I was walking out the door this morning that a Judge is going to issue a ruling on one of the lawsuits filed against one of the state bans today. Unfortunately I didn't hear which state clearly. It was on Fox and Friends this morning if anyones google foo is better than mine.
Might've been Michigan?:
Judge temporarily halts flavored vape ban in Michigan, cites harm to businesses

Who's keeping score for our team? vaping has temporary wins in NY, Michigan, loses in Mass. What are the others?

So I'm not the best at speaking about this stuff but I do remember where the 30 days came from. In the most recent lawsuit vs the FDA the judge gave the FDA 30 days to enact it's original rules on e-cig vaping, meaning begin and end the PMTA process. The FDA rebutted and said "That's not nearly enough time you have to give us until may to BEGIN the process." Judge agreed, May it is. So the quotes you're finding are from old/bad information.

Yeah, someone had received an email from CASAA (for Louisiana members only) that told them that, but I heard nothing after that.

Trump was supposed to make an announcement on the flavor ban this past Friday but was unable to do so because of the legislative process. Here's the initial post and the post explaining what the heck the initial post meant to those of us commoners.

On twitter #vapeban I believe but may be this link will work.

For everyone else, the place to get the widest range of vape news the fastest is learn how to get around on twitter. It's new to me. I'm getting the hang of it. I like that most of the big shooters are there sharing what they know about breaking events. I have some discussion points that I'd like to contribute to a wider audience and probably there is no better place to do it. But it does take some timme and patience to be noticed, assuming you want to be noticed.

It seems like a recent Executive Order (#13891), which limits the force that agency Guidance documents have, might be standing in the way of imposing a flavor ban at the federal level without going through the lengthy rule-making process first.

I think another tact would be to write the state governors and let them know how we feel. There may or may not be a nationwide ban, but some states are certainly implementing this already. Let the governors know they have to be re elected too. Ive written the governor of kentucky and actually got a reply advising me to direct my concerns to the state legislature, which i will definately do next. Let's keep the letter writing campaign going. Ive even gone so far as to pre-shame them if they knuckle under to big business demands to monopolize the industry.

You know, when I say I will accomplish a task within a certain time frame and then get distracted by other more important tasks the people around me say I have lied, failed at my duty and dereliction of whatever, and sometimes they say mean stuff. Like, I have poor time management and stuff.

I wish I was the POTUS. LOL, no I don't. YES I DO!!! Vaping and mj would be SO legal.

I might even pass a law that it would be mandatory to try both for a bit by the age of, oh 30.

There are lots of people who I feel might like, benefit from expanding their horizons a bit and trying "new things."

I mean, some people are just SUPER BORING and with the single stroke of a pen, I could change the whole NATURE of "enforcement officers."

Who would not want to be the enforcement officer standing over Clinton and saying "No, Mr. Clinton you have to INHALE the whole way." LOL.

I personally would make an executive order stating that the government shall not be involved in private citizens private lives when that private citizen can only be doing harm to themselves and has the ability to do their research and about the only time the government needs to be involved in things like that is when the knowledge isn't there to look up or when a company or Corporation is directly and purposefully falsifying information. Call me crazy but I'm not terribly concerned what somebody wants to do with themselves if it doesn't impact anyone else and I don't think anyone else should be either as long as they're not being unduly influenced by being lied to from the makers of whatever they're doing. I mean among other things but that would be a good start lol since we're now governing by executive order...in the land of the free
