But, to their defense, Americans are sooooo demanding....for decades we've gone into our GP, and demanded the "perfect little happy pill" to take care of the most basic aches and pains that the medical groups bent to the whining. We, in our pursuit for instant gratification, have started this downward spiral.
Very true. On the one hand, everyone waves their hands and stomps their feet for personal freedom, but at the same time, the same people want a hand-out, bail-out, or a cure-all for whatever ails them. Can't have freedom without responsibility.
Hilarious. I was looking up "head of the fda" to make a joke about your comment on popcorn, and hits 1 and 4 read like this:
1. "
Crawford Confirmed As Head Of FDA" in July of '05 and quotes "The Senate confirmed acting Commissioner Lester M. Crawford as the permanent head of the Food and Drug Administration"
4. "
Ex-Head of F.D.A. Faces Criminal Inquiry" referencing Crawford in April of '06 after resigning 3 months into his appointment saying that it was time for someone else to take over.
I guess permanent ain't what it used to be....
Not directly related to the subject, but I got a laugh out of the results of trying to get a laugh....
