Well they were talking about the banning of the flavors in cigs, and a few other things. I didn't hear anything about the E-Cig, but they did talk about one key thing. People that don't smoke after the age of 19teen more than likely will not start smoking.

So my question is why isn't smoking been bumped up to 21 years or older unless you are in the military? Should vapping be 21 instead of 18teen to make sure they are already smokers before they start?

*LE SIGH* I sit here sucking down the remaining analog I have since running out of go juice. It is a nasty habit that I will break free from with my PV, I think it is beyond time we renamed these from supplier down.

I am far more pleasant with vapor than with analogs, clear headed clear lunged and my mouth does not taste like hell, I KNOW I slept better these last few days.

It comes down to this country being broke and ran into the ground on so many fronts, big pharma, big tobacco, big gubment spending. We need to pay and pay dearly for our elected big wigs in office who are out for themselves vs. the little man. This country was built on the backs of the little man and big everything sees it as thier lawful right to crush the hard working masses under the heel of "this is good for you!".

The last time this poorly ran government agency was in any decent thought out process was the 1900s. Snake oil, dirty slaughterhouses and bad food handling, yes it is helpful BUT I mean come on the adverts for big pharm are freaking everywhere. It is a free for all, don't like your eye lashes here slap this crap on your eyes and you might go blind or some other horrible side effect.
All I hear from the FDA is "blah blah lobbyist lining my pockets blah blah smoking is bad for you BUT keep doing it! blah blah Oh just got some more money!"

Corruption at the highest levels, I am not adovactng overthrow or over regulation but total transparency as promised.. We the people for the people! Oh wait a criminal is making choices for me!! I get it I work, pay more than my fair share and get no assistance from the government... But the few freedoms I do have is choice and that is being stripped away more and more everyday... I am DONE paying tax after tax after price hike for some big tobacco lobbyist to woo and fondle these politicos.

No thank you I will figure out a way to bootleg PV and juice IF I have to. I will be like Big Al in the 1920s...might have to change my name to scarvape if that happens.

too true....i started smoking when i was 13 by sneeking them from my mom and dad or bumming from friends....then when i was 16 is tarte buying my own....and no one ever asked me for id until my 18th birthday

I'm against government telling us what we can and can't do with our bodies, but analog cigs are bad, obviously. Banning them wouldn't stop anyone from getting them, nor would raising the age.

I started smoking at 16, 2 years before I could legally get them. The more "bad" you make them sound, the more kids will want them.

Honestly, how many of us actually waited to start smoking until we were 18? Not I! The truth is, kids who want to smoke will smoke whether they are of age or not - just as we did. :) Vaping is a different story however. How many kids have the credit cards or paypal accounts to pay for these things? And even if they paid cash in the Mall for Smoking Everywhere, over a hundred dollars as an initial investment is not as easy to come up with as $5 or $6 for a pack of cigs.

Bottom line, where there is a will there is a way and I will keep vaping until they rip my VaporKing out of my cold dead hands! :)

Same here, As soon as I think the ban hammer might fall I am getting a 3 year supply of unflavored. By the time that runs out I will have figured something out or quit.

Our gornment infuriates me. The older I get the more I see. None of it good. I think it takes a certain psychological deficiancy to want to become a politician. I seriously doubt if there has been someone in public office that was doing it for honest reasons in many years.

The reasoning you hear more and more from those who want to control the behavor of others is that X costs everyone money, so it should be banned, limited, or taxed. "X" can be smoking, obesity, people who choose to not have health insurance, etc. So where do you draw the line? Should we ban muscle cars like Mustangs and Camaros? After all, people who drive these cars are more likely to drive recklessly than people who drive Accords. They get into more accidents and that costs everyone money. What about outdoor activities like mountain climbing, boating, etc.? People who engage in those activities often get into trouble and need to be rescued; we all pay for that. While we're at it, let's regulate where people can live. People who live near the ocean or in areas with a high danger of wild fires are driving up insurance rates for the rest of us. And here's the Biggie: let's be like China and tell people how many kids they can have. Fewer people being born = fewer people taking up resources and polluting the planet.

The fact is, EVERYTHING costs society something. At the same time, all the activities I mentioned above generate money and provide jobs. There are two sides to every coin. I have had it with the nanny state and with "experts" on power trips trying to control our lives in the name of what's "best" for us and/or cheaper for society, according to them. I want my freedom back!
