Lol @ quoting Ayn Rand. Vapers will always resist regulation by pushing the envelope and push regulators to do their jobs intelligently and without doing harm to working people's ability to exercise their freedom, because despite the fact that some of us are Ayn Rand quoting libertarians, most of us actually desire to comply with regulations that are well-crafted and designed with a balance of the health of people and the health of the vaping industry in mind.

As long as I am not harming others it is not anyone's business to regulate me, be it vaping or any other activity. I honestly don't know who Ayn Rand is, but there are those that I do look to for quotes.

“Still one thing more, fellow citizens–a wise and frugal government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government.”

Thomas Jefferson, in his First Inaugural Address in 1801

Exactly. Treating vices (or any other behaviors that harm no one else) as crimes is unjust.

Oxymoronic....

most of us actually desire to comply with regulations that are well-crafted and designed with a balance of the health of people and the health of the vaping industry in mind.

Ditto.... and "most of us actually desire" (here anyway) doesn't describe the reality of the situation.

You libertarians make me laugh. I believe in abolishing all hierarchy, you want corporations to rule the people directly instead of indirectly as they do now.

Vape on buddy.

I want corporations to stay out of Washington DC or our State Capitals and produce stuff that we like at reasonable prices. I want politicians to stop 'partnering' with corporations. GM can't make you buy a Chevy. The gov't can. That's the difference.

Well after a quick reading of the first 64 pages of the official deeming released this morning unless Congress or the court system changes it I hope everyone is stocked up within the next year or two.
It will not be hard for vapers to go underground. Chinese sites still sell nic concentrate to people in countries where it's banned over the counter.

CASAA: FDA Deeming Regulations: Release and Next Steps

Per CASAA:

"The most important thing you can do is to make a call, write, or send an email to your Representative and urge them to cosponsor and support HR 2058. If there is one thing that has to be done, this is it. Encourage your family members, friends, everyone who has supported your journey to participate."

For the most part we have that right now or are well on the way to achieving what you
desire with out any imperial entanglements. The only thing these regulations will do
is increase the price of vaping to the point that those of us on fixed incomes will be
forced to go back to smoking or give up vaping. Granted I am planning on DIY but,
there are literally millions of people that do not even know what DIY means or will
ever frequent these forums.
