I hate to say it but after a year of vaping I am pretty much fed up with it. batteries that only last 2 or 3 months, atomizers that only last a week and tankomizers that last 3 days. Dripping and getting a mouth full of juice. I loved it at first but if I cant get some decent and satisfying equipment I am going to end up smoking analogs again. Argh!!!

It would seem to be tough to go back to the analogs after a whole year .. I've not yet experienced a failed battery, however, I know it will happen .. rechargables only last so long and I don't think a reconditioner is available for these type batteries .. I'm happy with a weeks use on a carto ..

Maybe you've just not hit on the right combination of equipment .. ??

Ego batteries have gotten pretty cheap, like ten bucks a pop. A pack of smokes here in NYC is about $14 nowadays - I know it isn't that bad in the rest of the country, but still expensive (my first pack was 55 cents). I almost gave up on vaping because of liquid in the mouth and general leaking with my Tornado tank (Ego-T), then I found 510 dial coil cartos. I love them. Give it a shot.

I just ordered some dual coil cartos from madvapes. been using the lr ego tank system for some time. It's not bad, but I can't stand the leaking sometimes and the wick issues. I should be getting the cartos today, and it's my first go round with them. I have avidly tried to avoid them due to all of the negative reports I constantly read. We'll see though. I do plan on getting a mod sometime soon. Either a bottom feeder, or the E power.

I hear your frustration. I'm very tired of dripping my 510 for almost a year now and having splatter on my tongue all the time and always watching for the atomizer to glow for more juice. I have a "Vision" cartomizer arriving today to see if the latest technology in commercial cart tanks are more convenient.

As for the batteries ... I solved that problem when I bought my GLV(2mini). They take rechargeable batteries that you can swap in and out of the unit and I bought a battery case so I can carry 1 in my unit and 2 in the small case in my pocket.

I've been using my 510 passthrough with ego-t atty for a many weeks now. I also use kr808d1 passthrough and a drip tip in the cartos. I get the kr cartos for about 1 dollar (in bulk) and the ego tank atomizers are now 4.40 in 10 packs (they last ages if you boil and clean them once a week and dry them properly then wick them properly) i only use batteries when absolutely necessary because i find it wasteful. But i have a desk job so it is easy.

I recommend getting passthroughs and plugging them in to the usb power plugs. Cheap ego-t atomizers from vaporhawk.com, not sure where the best place to get passthroughs is at the moment but it really doesn't matter because they last for ages if you don't abuse them. It's about learning.

Never had to resort to mods special gear because i've had practice. Btw, 510's are the ....tiest atomizers. And i have to say they were the ones i quit smoking on, but it didn't take long to find better choices. The internet was full of misinformation about how good they were, I tired a fresh one just the other day and wow they are hard work. Such hard work to keep alive without burning them out.

The usa was big on the 510 meanwhile europe was using the far superior 808d-1 (in my opinion) I still use the 808d-1 to this day when i don't want to look like i'm sucking on a sharpie. (ego) But using 510 atomizers is no longer an option for me. I have heaps of fresh ones lying around and i can't bring my self to risk that burnt wick ever again.

Get lots of fresh ego-t attys and kr-attys ditch the kr808 cartos once a week or sooner and clean the ego-t attys in boiling water.

Never smoke them dry. You will get it in the end. the different flavor of ego to kr 808 is a nice change. Good luck

OK I found a Joye Stick V3 starter kit for $39 - guess I will give it a go.

Go with an Old Goat! Old Goat (he's an ECF member) makes killer bottom feeding mods. His 3.7 volt bf with an upgraded switch is $35, his 5 volt bf is $50, and (most amazing of all) his variable volt bf is $65.00!!! You won't find anything better for the money!

I've had a weekend with my two Visions and, ~10-15ml later, I'm in love. It's totally changed my vaping experience. No more worrying about flooding or being dry on my atomizer, no more dripping and driving, no more leaks all over the place from dripping in 510s (it seems to me 1 in 3 leak constantly with dripping) ... Very happy with them. It's not something you can just put in your pocket, though.
