There is a new federal rule saying that E-Cigs can no longer be placed in checked luggage. You can still have them on you, like in your pocket, or in your carry-on luggage but you cannot use them or charge them during your flight. Any thoughts on this?

Yes. My thoughts are that there are too many laws, rules, and regulations. Not just E-cigs, but for everything.
I understand the reason for not putting E-cigs in checked baggage. Those lithium batteries can and do start fires. Not a good thing on a plane.
