Speaking of FOIA requests, I'll be receiving results from a request to the Department of Veteran Affairs for e-mails and other correspondence that resulted in a fearmongering press release about e-cigarettes in the next week.

Uggh! It seems like any government agency, federal, state or local, resists FOI and similar state law requests as though it's none of our business. I'm speaking from personal experience here. Well, it's our government, it's our business and the system for deciding what is important to national security is FUBAR. The smug .......s aren't working from a private entity.
