I am not a dripper nor do I really get all the sub ohming. I usually use carto tanks on a provari. My ohms are usually between 1.5 & 2.2. I usually have my provari set at about 3.5 to 3.7. I am a major chain vapor and vape all day long. If I go beyond 3.7 things tend to burn. I have one cart that is 3.5 and that one is set at 4.6. So here is my confusion. I am wanting a box mod but seems like the voltage only goes down to 4. Should I even bother? I really want the vaproshark for the size factor. I need something small and that totally fits the bill. What do yall think?

I LOVED my DNA 30 mini custom box mod with clearomizer tanks like the Aspire Nautilus. I also ran some Kanger tanks on it. The adjustable wattage is sort of a different animal than adjustable voltage once you get used to vaping with it, but the DNA 30 always was plenty low enough for me even with my coils that tended to like lower power. But I wasn't building then like I am now, I just knew by figuring the ohms or the flashy display ohm reading to let me know it was dumping battery power.

Nice to see a gulf coaster, I'm from Louisiana. You gonna attend Vape Summit in Houston? My boss has "Charlie goes to Vape Summit" on his "official business" calendar because I was too excited to just write "vacation" or "out of the office".

You will be fine with the VS if you want one. Do yourself a favor and try the aspire nautilus mini on your provari at 4.2 volts.
If you like it you will be all set for the Vapor shark.
Some people run them at 15+ watts. I use mine at 8 to 10 watts which is around 4.2 / 4.3 volts (same as on the provari) No burnt taste. – However, if I didn’t already have the VS (purchased mostly for the form factor) I would be jumping on the Eleaf Istick – It’s about the same size and far less $$$

Good to know. Then that just makes me want to go ahead and get it. I just love the form factor of it.

I do plan on being at vape summit. Really can't wait. So glad it will be in Houston. Was starting to think this fine city would never get something this cool.

Well now I am excited about getting the VS. Supposed to get it for vapeaversary / birthday.
