Well, here's my story.
I started off with 901 attys.
I loved them, got me off my cigs forever.
I use a 6V box
mod that hubby made me.
My record is 4 blown 901 attys in one day. That's getting expensive. I have to set my box mod on a folded Kleenex because there's ALWAYS a puddle of
juice when I pick it up (and I'm a clean freak. This bothers me)
So, I try an 808 carto. No leaks.
Huge deal. It lasts all day (with refills)
Hmmm. $1 each. no flavor mixing cause at that price, I keep one for each flavor. No more stains on hubby's dress shirt pockets from leaks. No more Kleenex under my box.
These
LAST at 6V. Weeks. I killed one taking it apart but other than that, I have about a dozen in the "might be marshmallow-ed but need to try to clean them someday" bag.
I got my hands on a drip tip. After the initial fill, I just drip a few drops every few minutes, just like the guys that use an atty and drip tip.
Now, I don't have much of a sense of smell, so taste nuances are lost on me, but with 100% PG the throat hit is as good as my 901 attys were.
Cheaper. Much, much cheaper.
Easy as an atty (with a drip tip)
No leaks !!!!!!!!!!!
I don't see a down side.
That's just MHO, but there it is.
If they ever get the technology up where the 901 attys don't leak, and last as long as these do, I might go back. Maybe.
