Based on the price in your post, looks like your looking at the satin ProVari. There's a kit available for a little over $200 that includes carto's, drip tip, 2 batts and charger. That would be all you need to get started The basic ProVari uses 2x 18490 batts.
I'm a heavy vapor and 1 18490 lasts me around 10 hrs, so I use 2 a day. If you want longer time per batt, then you could purchase an extension and use 18650 bats like Hottody suggested. I prefer the shorter length of the standard ProVari. If you like dripping, then get a 510 connection atty. I know ProVape sells attys and I hope they don't mind me plugging another vendor, but I suggest the IKenVape IO6 atty's. I use them exclusively on my ProVari and really like them. As to carto and/or atty ohms - I suggest at least 2.5 to 3.0 ohms. This will give you a better range of voltage settings to use. Some folks use LR carto/attys and even dual coil carto - but I'd stay away from them until you have some experience with the ProVari.
oh - if you have the extra money, I also suggest not buying the kit with the charger and ordering the Pila charger instead. It's a fine charger and gives me more piece of mind if I forget to take the battery out when the charge is complete.
Best wishes on your new PV - you're gonna like it!!!
