This is WAY OFF BASE & I may be 100% wrong here, but if dizziness is the most pronounced symptom, consider the possibility that a minute crystal may have broken loose and is floating around in your ear canal. I only mention it because your mentioning dizziness that will not go away struck a familiar chord with me.

This happened to me about 10 years ago. Nothing like this had ever happened before, and it came on suddenly out of nowhere. Dizziness just would not go away. I didn't feel safe driving, NO WAY was I going to call an ambulance for something that MIGHT be minor.. So I searched my symptoms on the Medical websites. :)

That pointed me to the info about something may be floating around in the ear canal. Long story short.. If this is potentially your issue, there is a maneuver that you CAN do at home, if you follow the instructions step by step. EPLY Maneuver. I did it. Got VERY dizzy for a few seconds during each step. Once finished, ALL dizziness went away. Never happened again either.

Of Course, nearly everything is on YouTube these days. "Eply Maneuver to treat BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo) Vertigo."

DIsclaimer: !!! I know NOTHING about medicine, so check with your doctor. :) I'm just saying what helped me..

Hi, this is may help some people. If any of you experience eye twitches read on...

HELLO!

I have been reading a lot of forums lately due to me suffering from continuous eye twitches, including my eye brow too. This went on for weeks and weeks and even when my eyes wern't fully twitching, they always felt like they were about to twitch...Sooooooooo irritating and not to mention scary.

I first I thought it was a lot of things. Most people say it's cos you're tired or you've had too much caffiene but these have never been an issue with me and I eat a VERY healthy diet which revolves around lean meat, veggies, and good carbs, plus good fats. And before you tell me to eat a banana...I have them all the time!

I started to suspect my shisha pen as I vaguely remembered that it had started properly around me starting to have more and more shisha pen due to me tapering down my ciggerette consumption and the actually quitting over 2 weeks ago now.

This is a BREAK-THROUGH. People are blaming the nicotine in the shisha but it's not. Did you ever have a long-time eye twitch when you smoked real ciggerettes?

So, 2 days ago i decided to stop smoking my nicotine shisha to see if it was the nicotine. Unfortunately, the eye twitches carried on. I had some nicotine free Liqua propelyne glycol and vegetable glycol liquid so was smoking that. So yeah, it is obviously not the nicotine if the twitches kept going even when on nicotine free.

My next move was to just completely stop smoking shisha and I did that yesterday at 3pm. Literally, 5 minutes after I stopped the twitches VANISHED! They haven't returned even well into the next day. They don't even feel like they are about to twitch and I sneezed and everything remained un-twitchy!

I'm not sure if it is the drying effect of the liquid, or the chemical effect going to our brain. Who knows. The main thing is, no you are not dying. Yes this can be fixed. I will be switching to an all veg glycrin liquid soon to see if that makes me twitchy also. I hope not...as I really need something to smoke but can't go back to real ciggies.

Hope this helps some of you :)

Literally 5 minutes or figuratively 5 minutes?
Literally 5 minutes actually tells us that it probably wasn't the shisha. Since I'm fairly certain the effects of smoking pretty much anything will last longer than 5 minutes....

(I censored myself) I can say with confidence that there are at least a few things that qualify in the 'less than five minutes' department. But I'm not allowed to discuss it as per forum rules. LOL. ;)

But in all seriousness. I'd suspect an anxiety disorder that was previously undiagnosed. It could just be coincidence that it popped up around the same time. Do let us know, and get well soon!

Hey guys,

I used to vape pretty regularly on 12mg liquid and I quit a few months ago. A week ago I purchased one of those Logic starter kits with refills at 24mg. A few of the days I would hit it too hard and get faint and spacey for an hour or 2. Problem is last time it happened was Saturday and it still hasn't fully went. I feel confused and spacey and disconnected from the world even though I can do everything normally.

It's making my life hell and I feel like it's gonna be permanent and I have bad anxiety which is making me have panic attacks.

Has anyone been through similar or have any advice? My doc just gave me Xanax to relax.
Yes, I have advice that I hope you will listen to. Get off the zanex immediately, and don't ever get it again. The addiction to it will be permanent, and much worse than getting Nicotine sick from vaping CRAZY HIGH 24mg. All you need at most is 12mg of nicotine. My vendor won't sell ejuice any higher than 18mg, because he knows nobody needs a higher level. With SubOhm tanks all the rage, the nicotine goes straight to the brain, and we need less now.

Do I understand you correctly that you quit nicotine altogether, went back to vaping for a few days and really overdid it, and then quit again? Your symptoms may be consistent with nicotine withdrawal. What you describe is exactly how I feel in withdrawal. Completely spaced and disconnected. If it's withdrawal it will go away. Drink plenty of water and get plenty of sleep -- usually helps.

Thank you mate that made me feel a whole lot better, I've thought I was going mad, last night I started to come down a bit off it now and I don't feel as disconnected or dizzy, not totally there yet but getting there I think! Staying positive at least

Nicotine is an ototoxin. That is the reason for the symptoms of nic overdose. I also have a progressive hearing loss in the severe to moderately severe range, so it is scary. I agree with "Mad Scientist" There are so many ototoxins, you can't avoid all of them. My audiologist says that anything that affects the heart also affects the hearing. When I started vaping, I had nausea and dizziness, too, although exposure to chlorine and drinking tonic-water could have also been factors. I went to 0mg nic, and after a while, the symptoms faded. I have since gone back up to 3mg, and avoid anything stronger than that. If you are vulnerable, just don't vape high nic. (Alcohol is also an ototoxin.)

Everyone has a different threshold for getting nic-sick-- listen to yours, and obey it. Some ototoxic events cause temporary damage, others are permanent. And the body and mind adapt. And anxiety and depression can definitely cause the person to be excessively focused on physiological symptoms. Good luck, and you can get through this.

I used to vape 18mg nic on a tank, stepped down to 6 and now 3 on the rda. with all the new devices offering sub ohm high wattage it's real easy to go overboard on nicotine. at least you didn't end up puking or worse, in the hospital.

Ou2 is right. My ol' lady has a panic disorder and the symptoms you are describing sound almost exactly like what she goes through on a daily basis. You should definitely take your doc's advice and the xanax should help. Also, seek some counseling. Panic disorders, if left untreated don't usually go away. They get worse and can be crippling.

I threw it away the day it happened and had been drinking that night so done some hookah too and felt fine. Ever since I have just felt like a dizzy confused feeling and disconnected and my eyes get really tired. It's a nightmare, I have had this feeling before but it never lasted more than a few hours.

Has this happened to anyone for this long?
try some zero nic for awhile. 100% VG if you're dripping. it's smooth, satisfying and shouldn't cause the anxiety/panic associated with nicotine/stimulants

Well not long after. And my symptoms of eye twitching have significantly reduced since stopped smoking any shisha liquid. However, I say reduced. The effects of propolyne glycol are unknown so I will probably have eye twitches when I sneeze or when I get stressed for a few months yet whilst my body starts to repair itself. BUT I truely believe in my case, it was the shisha liquid and there has been a dramatic shift in the amount of twitching I am experiencing. Yay!

So for anyone who has eye twitches and also smokes shisha. Nicotine or nicotine free - just give it up fo a few days and see what happens. No one suspects the innocent shisha pen...

never had or heard of shisha pens but I have been noticing some infrequent eye twitches. I usually go higher on the VG

So your eye only twitched when you were vaping?
Hey :)

My eyes started twitching heavily since I started heavily smoking shisha. I have never had a problem before with eye twitching so, I know my own body. Something was going on, something right underneath my nose.

The thing is, as soon as I stopped smoking the shisha, within 5-10 minutes I noticed my twitchiness had gone. This lasted until the next morning. I did experience a small amount of twitching when I sneeze and also when I went to the dentist today. But nothing like before. It could be the drying nature of the liquid that irritates the eyes. Who knows. The point is, nobody suspects the shisha pen! I have ruled all possible things out, but this seems the most likely to me. But no, my eyes were twitching when I wasn't smoking it and when I was but this is probably because of the lingering effect of the shisha vapour on my eyes.

There are a few people who have said that they started getting twitchy eyes soon after starting to vape...

There's a good chance that it's psychosomatic, at least the relief. I'm confused by the 5 minutes. Since you started vaping, you never put it down for more than 4 minutes? Was it the length of time that calmed it down, or was it the decision to stop vaping? Cause you must have not used the vape for a 5 minute stretch somewhere in the day before you decided to stop using it completely. Eye twitching can be caused by so many things and can definitely last weeks and months. Anything from pinched nerves to vitamin deficiency.

I am prescribed KLONOPIN! I get memory loss sPacey from that.
Not vaping.
However if u have anxiety, nicotine will not help it.. Drop nicotine intake.
BUT if u smoke? I don't know why you would be feeling those anxiety symptoms.
Are you sub ohm or Vape in high temperatures (wattage)
Last thing.. Summer time heat could hurt too

I had this the first week I started vaping. I was told a PAD smoker should start w/24 or 18mg. Thankfully, a kind person PMed me, asked me exactly what kind of cigs I had been smoking, looked up the nic mg content, and figured out that I shouldn't be vaping more than 12mg at the most.

As soon as a went down, life became instantly bearable again.

I was restless, anxious, kinda not feeling well, etc. and thought it was cig withdrawal but it was not!

24mg would make me pretty sick now, and also, there may have been a flavoring in there that didn't agree with you?

I would definitely see doctor again to make sure all my blood values, etc. were right
