Fell off the wagon last night...but that's ok

Laugh...I had a long drive, much longer than anticipated with I-10 between Fl and New Orleans being such a mess...

Thankfully I started at Gulfport so only had to ride that nightmare 35 miles, still took more than 2 hours...

Regardless, I knew it was late and I have been really fighting against the desire for a chew of copenhagen...

I stepped in and got two cans on the drive, knowing I would just use them for these long drives...one dip and I realized it was still tasty, but wasn't the nectar of the gods I was remembering it as...

So this morning I gave the two cans (minus a dip) to they guy in the office who was always bumming...

I'm done with dip for good, it just doesn't fill that need..

Now, I blew through 7ml in my 10 hours of driving (6mg)...which is more than I was anticipating...*laugh* NOt easy to do out of an eGo T and EVOD atomizers...

I understand how you feel, which is why I'm trying to stay away from long drives lol.......... Honestly on long drives cigarettes was always a pleasure for me because it not only kept me awake but it was just a joy for some reason to smoke while driving on long trips...... Just glad I have my innokin which I can charge in my car and vape it at the same time......BTW I also gave my last pack to a co-worker that always bummed as well lol......

Giving up dip is very very hard. I quit a little over a year ago, and it was far worse (imo) then times I quit smoking. Good for you to give the two cans away. There is a can of Swedish snus in my freezer. I keep it in case all H breaks loose, and I am wigging out lol. It's not the same as dip.

I almost went back to Snus...It was just to difficult to manage when I ran out...

Not a bad idea, I can put a couple of cans of Rape in the freezer and keep them in case of emergency...

I still haven't kicked cigs completely, I've been vaping for almost a month now but am down to 2-3 cigs a day. I was a pack/day smoker before that though, so I feel as if I'm making progress.

One thing I've noticed is that even though I haven't quit completely, my taste buds are already coming back and I'm finding cigs to be gross. I'll end up lighting up, having a few puffs, deciding its gross after half of it then putting it out and pulling out the vape. I think within another few weeks I'll probably be down to 1 a day, maybe none!

I think the best approach is just to keep trying, cave occasionally, but just track your progress and MAKE progress as you're going along. I may still smoke a few analogs a day, but it's because I'm still stepping down off them completely. As long as I'm not trending upwards in my cigs per day, I'm happy!

It's all a process & everyone is different. As long as the analog intake is declining then you are going the right direction. You will get to none in due time. Driving was always a trigger for me. Now I figure that my Protank will hold me over for those infrequent long drives. Keep it up &,,,,,

It's been a little over 4 months for me, and I still have to have a chew once or twice a week. I keep a pack somewhere incovienent to get to (locked in a tool box in the car trunk), and can overcome the craving most of the time just because I'm lazy.
