i have a feeling the jasper and jasper is a bit of a non runner compared to other e cigs but i have very recently started vaping to replace my fags and have a few questions to make this last untill after my hols in a few weeks when ill hopefully pick up some new kit.

i was wondering if anyone knew what battery, atomizer and cartridge type these had so i could see about buying a few spares and if i am right in thinking i can make my own catrs from blank cartridges?

sorry very new to this and tying to sus a few bits out.

The atomizer and cartrides that come with the Jasper and JAsper suck in my opinion, but Jasper and Jasper do sell carttomizers for them(they call them hybrid cartridges) and they work better in my experience, as far as the connector, I'm not sure, its a bit larger than a 510, a 510 carto will screw into it but not snugly

The battery on them lasted me about 4 hours max and that was with VERY light vaping and after a coupe of weeks the nside connector on th battery became dissconnected so it was rendered useless

I didnt like it at all as you can see, and since it's just a few bucks less than a decent cig sized starter kit like the Volt, I'd get something better pretty soon if I were you, but for now, check the place where you got ther jasper and jasper and see if the have the "hybrid cartridges" and buy a few of those it should hold you over for a little while

cheers for the info.

looks like i may have made a wrong first step with the jasper and jasper.
ill have to get the most out of it i can until it packs up on me.

im quite a light smoker really normally 5 max a day so this might last me. im on countdown mode at the mo till im off to egypt for 2 weeks so if i can get it to last me for 6 weeks till it goes pear shaped ill be happy enough and it would have covered its cost.

in the meantime ill have to visit this forum a lot to get a better idea of what to buy next.

e-cigarette consists of 3 or 2 parts
- battery
- atomizer
- atty

or

- battery
- cartomizer

In most cases, such as connector 510, so that all devices are combined with such a connector between them.
You can use any tank or carto on your battery.

? so i can just buy any refillable cart to use on my jasper and jasper. im mainly trying to go down the e liquid route now i have a bit more info in my head

I just had horrible experience with the one I had, but hey it's all part of learning, I think it should last you over, get the Jasper and Jasper cartos, or get some 510 cartos though they look awkward on it and you can refill both though the Jasper and Jasper cartos are a pain to refill

and make sure to keep your charger with you, as I never could find any pattern in when it would die, but with you being as light a smoker as you say, you may not have any problem with the batteriy lasting afull day. I'd just keep the charger with me just in case, it sucks to have to buy a pack of analogs because your battery is dead

hi guys and girls.

just a quick update i have had a reply email from declan at ez smoke informing me that the jasper and jasper is not compatible with any 510 products.

im fully gutted i didn't take my time and gather some info before buying their starter kit (not from ez smoke).
unfortunately i got on this forum too late.

im assuming now im going to need to get a complete new starter kit (not going to impress the mrs)

im also very confused by the speed at which their cartridges run out, like i say im about a 5 a day smoker but its gone through 3 carts since saturday morning.

if anyone asks me the answer is avoid jasper and jasper.

gutted.

Try to avoid vendors that do not state the mah of the battery- 100 mah= 1 hr normal vaping before recharge. Also buy from an ECF listed vendor or from one of the sites Chrissie posted.
Good Luck....could be worse as we've seen some buy starter kits worth $40 for well over $100.

lesson learnt
