I would like to ask which is main difference between rta and rda? or more like why people preffere rda more, because i disliked the frequent dropping.

Another question is, which would be best RTA?

And last Question, which is best gettable box mode? I have 100w istick, but dunno, dislike it so much,

thx for answear

Welcome to ECF!

I don't own any RTDAs, but, you can get a very deep well RDA that does not need to be refilled as frequently. Look at Twisted Messes and Vulcan RDAs. They are both on my buy list for early 2016.

I have no opinion on which RDTA to buy. I'm not in the market for one. Sorry.

Hmmmmm... after some thought on the matter, I guess I would recommend the SMOK TFV4 for an RDTA. I think that has support for one.
Yep, or a LEMO2. I don't own a TFV4 but heard they are easy to build coils for. The LEMO 2 is as well. Upside with the TFV4 is you can also buy pre-made coils.

Difference between RTA and RDA for me is when I am moving around outside and/or driving. My LEMO2 is much easier than my Temple RDA in this regard; and even though my Temple travels with me, I only use it once I get to a comfortable stopping point.

Box Mods: My Sigelei 75 works fine for anything under 30 watts; higher than that, it gets pretty hot and the battery life is non existent. I recently bought a Wismec 200 that uses three batteries and swapped batteries after three days of steady vaping.

If you hate Dripping you are going to LOVE RTA.

Think of an RTA like all the flavor of a dripper with the convenience of a tank, and almost no taste of burning cotton.

I used drippers for a while then I got a Goblin Mini. The flavor to me bwas better than the Magma and Veritas, and just as good as the Rogue and Freakshow Mini.

There is no way I would go back to drippers.

I use three RTAs.

Silverplay Nano
Goblin Mini.

Those two have the best FLAVOR of all of the RTAs I have ever vtried

The picture in my avatar is a Kayfun Monster Mini V3. I take this when I am out and about. If something happens and I break the tank I can replace it for about $1.25 by buying 5 at a time from fasttech.

I used to carry my GMini when I went down town and almost broke the tank a few weeks ago so my Kayfun Monster Mini goes out and about with me now.

A deep well rda has only one disadvantage vs a tank for me. If you leave it tipped over, the juice can drip out. I believe most tanks can be tipped and stored on their sides.
For me, deep well rda's advantages far outweigh a tank. Cost, flavor, build ease, change over, sturdiness, coil build options, compactness, probably forgetting a few more.

I use RTAs. Sometimes I have the vape in my coat pocket. Sometimes on the istick60tc on a lanyard around my neck.

I loved the Freakshow Mini but that bottom airflow leaked like a sieve. My RTAs don't leak.

My coils last 2 1-2-3 months.

No way would I go back to drippers.

I drip and I tank, depending on where I am and what I am doing. If you don't like dripping, then don't drip, is all I can say. I have only ever tried the Big Dripper RDTA, and it's OK, but not fabulous. The Aromamizer and the SOV Zenith are well thought of, but I don't have either. As far as the best RTAs, the Lemo2 for single coils and the Indulgence MT for duals. And right now the best buy on a gettable box mod is the Wismec Reuleaux RX200, $40 are Vapenw. It takes 3 batteries, which adds some cost, but the battery life is otherworldly, and it's just a really great mod.

What is it that you don't like about your iStick 100W?

I have a Bellus and a Uwell Crown. I really like them both. I started out using the Crown with the included coils, I moved over to the Bellus when I started winding my own coils. It took me a few trys to get it wicked properly so there was no leaking when I refilled, but I've got it now. The first attempt at wicking the Crown was not so successful, and I've not gotten back to it yet. The best thing about both of these is that they top fill. I used a Nautilus before buying these, and removing the tank to take the bottom off to fill is a pain in the rear.

I love my Temple RDA, I think the flavor is right there with my LEMO2, in some instances its better. But no way would I consider filling it and then using it driving to work.

I value my shirts, pants, and upholstery to much and if overfilled I would be wearing a little juice; not to mention the distraction that would cause me driving down the road.

If you plan on driving and this is the only RTA/RDA you will use, get a Tank. Buy a RDA later for practicing and playing at home :)

I use three RTAs, and kept only one dripper the Freakshow Mini for tasting new juices.

I own two regular sub ohm tanks, one RTA ( LEMO2 ) and two drippers.

I have considered getting a TFV4 due to all the hype, but think I have found my happy place with the LEMO2 RTA and Temple RDA :)

If you like single coils, it's the best and most versatile I have found. It will blow cloud or tootle (with a smaller drip tip), however you want to build it. I am a dyed in the wool dual coil man, but I used the Lemo2 as my go-to tank until I found the Indulgence MT. Hard to beat a Lemo2.

The Lemo2 is perfect for driving and being a little stealth IMO. My Temple on the other hand is the polar opposite of stealth but still taste great!

I do a good bit of driving between offices and job sites where I work, so I prefer tanks over drippers so I can go longer periods without having to worry about tank maintenance or being distracted while driving. However, I prefer RDA's when testing out new liquids and working with new coil builds. The flavor and vapor from RDA's tends to be more dense and rich, but is more time consuming to keep it running smoothly. Tank atomizers require less work, but some might argue that you'll never get the same flavor or clouds from anything but a dripper. Some people don't mind constantly dripping and have been doing so for years, so it's more of a preference than anything.

As far as which tanks and/or mods are "best", that is also entirely subjective. "Best" for you may not be best for someone else. It all depends on what you're looking to get out of the devices and RTA's. Choose what's best for you, not somebody else.

Absolutely! And the problem is for us new vapors is we have not had the opportunity and years of experience to try 10, 20, 30 setups.

This is the only place I could find solid advice on vaping. I honestly had never heard of a Lemo2 or Kayfun until I joined this board.

Both were highly recommended and it was really a tossup, but any Authentic Kayfun cost more. So I settled on the Lemo2 figuring if I did not like it, less money thrown away.

It was a great 35 dollar choice, based on what the good people here recommended and the re-wicking YouTube/reviews I watched.

I like my istick a lot more since I put a Lemo 2 on it earlier this week.

I also did my first coil-build and it was quick and easy. After watching more youtube vids on coil-building - yet again - it only took about 20 minutes and worked the first time I fired it up.

It comes precoiled for sub ohm tc, but I don't like sub ohm myself.

I have 3 RDAs collecting dust in a drawer. I like the sub tank and the EK-V2. I use 1.2 ohm coils in my sub tank and 1.3 ohm coils in my EK-V2s.I find running lower power give me a richer and more complex flavor from my juice. and I prefer a cool vape.i'm low budget old school and am quite happy with my nemesis mod

I find that I enjoy building.

I'm a sub ohmer. I like my builds down around .8 ohm. My current build is .78 ohm.

I have one RDA collecting dust. I only use it for sampling juices.

I wanted to find an EK BUT passed up on an EK 3 ml version at Fasttech a few weeks ago but I needed other gear such as wire, bases, and spare parts.

I went today and they no longer have the 3ml version. They also no longer have the Silverplay Nano either

Where could I find an EK 3 ml version?
