I am a GUY from L.A. not girl. lol
This is the best filler I have used. Works amazingly well, and simple too.

First cut TWO pieces of fiberglass cloth(same material used for the atty wick), about one inch square.

IMAG0012.jpg

Use tweezers or foreseps to grab the middle of both cloth squares.

IMAG0013.jpg

Then insert into the empty cart.

IMAG0014.jpg

Make sure the cloth is seated in the bottom of the cart, then trim the excess glass. You may want to "fluff" the end of the cloth after triming to loosen up any loose fibers then trim them as well.

Your cart should now look like this.

IMAG0017.jpg

Fill with @12 drops of juice and enjoy. When the flavor/vapor diminishes, refill with 10-12 drops of juice. So far, works every time. Doesn't flood, and wicks most of the juice. BTW, no burning atty taste even when empty, so far(3 refills, my head is spinning abit lol:vapor:). I will update if I have any problems.

This material was bought from a surf shop, and was very cheap(like less than $5 for a square foot). Your local hardware store should have similar cloth, but it might be coarse weave. Not sure how that will work, I'll have to try it later.:2cool:

Looks good LowThudd, as long as you can avoid inhaling glass fibers, should work.

The fibers are coarse enough that that is not a problem. They are too big to get through the cart. Also, this is not like insulation glass which is very fine with short fibers. It is just cloth. :)

Im not sure but somewhere on this forum is a "Do NOT Use" or "Things Not safe" kinda thread...Im not saying what you have there isnt safe (but since fiberglass isnt something you would normally want to inhale) I just think you may get alot of feedback on this mod :2c:

PS. Where'd ya get those scissors ?? I need some of them ! Oh, and can you widen that pic any too? :D

The cloth uses strands that are about the same size as the glass treads in the atty. It is the same material used in the atty to wick juice from the bridge.

The scissors I got at Biglots for like $2-3. lol. They might have them on the website if you don't have one local.

There was a problem with this mod, after a few top offs(12 drops each or so), the atty started flooding. So I have altered the technique a little.

Fold a 1 inch square corner to corner.

IMAG0019.jpg

Pinch the other two corners together and twist gently to get a bulb like top.

IMAG0020.jpg

Grab the bottom middle of the cloth bundle with long nosed tweezers.

IMAG0021.jpg

Then trim the loose end to make the bulb @3/4" long. Pull any loose threads that might get in your way as well.

IMAG0022.jpg

Then insert the bulb, freyed edge first into the cart.

IMAG0023.jpg

Dimple the bulb slightly with the dropper, this will aid in filling.

IMAG0024.jpg

Clean off any loose threads on the cart, then fill and use. Takes 8-12 drops every time, and no burning taste, just a slight "dry atty" taste when low on juice, much less pronounced than any other technique I have tried.

They are called EMT shears. They work really well on lots of different type of materials.
Thx kj4lxw
Im not sure but, were these the ones that use to be advertised on TV (Television not TastyVapo! lol) as being able to cut thru a penny and still slice a tomato JK ! but, still able to cut thru fabric or thin paper with ease after cutting thru a penny?
I missed out back then cause I thought they were cheap, now I think I want to try them.

Don't like the taste of poly, I've already done the hughping mod before. The glass just plain works well...better than poly.
then put some hemp fiber atleast...my great grandfather died from methosilioma from fiberglass inhalation....and purposly breathing it sounds really stupid to me....even if it works....

Mesothilioma is the result of fiberglass insulation, not fiberglass cloth. The insulation is in no way similar to glass cloth. I am sorry for your loss, and I appreciate your concern. But I am not worried. Thanks

Mesothelioma result from exposure to asbestos fibers of a particular length. Not from exposure to glass fiber. Specifically, short fiber asbestos. Since I've been exposed to quantities of short, medium and long fiber asbestos, I make sure my docs are aware of this.

AFAIK, the wick on most atomizers is made from silicon dioxide fiber. Silicon dioxide, AKA glass, AKA quartz.

In the air, glass fibers (from laying fiberglass insualtion, for instance) can be a skin and respiratory irritant. As a wick, I don't see the wetted fibers getting into inspired air very readily.

Thank you. You said what I knew to be true much better than I could.:)
