After about a year and a half of good service, my vvv pyrex tank is broken and I'm waiting for my replacement to come in. He now offers slick-looking, colored, anodized aluminum caps for the pyrex tanks. I have black caps on my broken tank, so I got silver for the new one. I like all the other colors, but it won't match as all my devices are black/silver or a combination of the two..
I'm rocking the SS caps on my sidewinder.

Haha dropped it on the floor, which is carpet. No big deal, right? Wrong. Bounced off the floor, hit metal leg of my office chair and cracked all over. It was still in one piece, and I admittedly used it still, but the carto flooded so I set it on the table. Knocked it over yesterday and it finally fell apart.
is the economy VVV tank susceptible to tank cracking juices? I use a few of the tank crackers, and don't want to ruin a tank if I can get away with it
The only crack-able tanks are special order.
The economy tanks are poly-propylene. I've had every tank-cracker I could think of in mine and no hazing at all.

I think the economy tanks are poly, so yes might crack or juice could eat away at it. Their pyrex tanks are incredibly strong and super cheap. I've dropped mine on concrete before and it didn't break. Thats why I was so surprised at how it did end up breaking.
Oh nevermind jac says they won't crack, but I've had juices make the plastic/poly hazy, so I'd rather go with pyrex and know there will be no issue.
That would be PC or poly carbonate plastic, as well as acrylic or Plexiglas. Polypropylene in NOT reactive to those acids. Most juice bottles are a poly-pro type plastic.

I've been using a Kanger Protank almost exclusively since I've started vaping... couple of drip atty's here and there... I wanted to try a carto tank, but don't want to ruin a tank with a juice.
The Pyrex looks best, even if it's a touch larger in diameter. The poly-pros with the anodized caps would come in second IMHO...

The pyrex and jumbo polypropylene tanks are 1" wide, they're a few mm larger than the Vamo but not too bad. The skinny polypro tanks are less than the width of a Vamo... the aesthetics are up to you. With the sidefill screw, the skinnier tanks might be a better choice. It mostly depends if you pocket your Vamo or not.
No-worries... even the cheapies from Ray are safe.

I'm getting a Jwrap for my Vamo... the one with the rusted gears and rivets etc. I wonder what the best color caps would be for that setup to make it look like it was meant to be on the Vamo
