I am having issues filling cartomozers. I bought three packs of cartomozers from electro-vapors.com and have yet to have a successful vape. I put between 20-25 drops in them, avoiding the center by filing on an angle. Lt them sit over night and give them a quick blow on to a paper towel.

7 out 10 toot's I get juice in my mouth, and I get more vapor blowing into my freezer.

Frustrating the he'll out of me.

I have some fluxomizers coming in from gotvapes.com but would like to load up some cartos with different flavors.

I am a dripper, using an eGo on 510 sr and Lr atties.

I also suggest trying out fewer drops at first. Like all things in this world of vaping, start small and add; we can always add more, but we can never take it back.

Sorry, but this does not apply to cartomizers! :)

It's much better to overfill initially--one can always blow out the excess. However, not enough ejuice in a carto will surely result in burnt filler and a dead carto.

In this case, more is better.

I know it might seem like a nominal amount to other people, but my funds are limited a majority of the time, so for me to waste materials like that constantly before I know the limitations of the equipment, I find that to be unwise.

I think that is applicable to the situation considering they are most likely being overfilled to the point where blowing won't fix the issue and it's is also possible they are being ruined somehow in the process.

I've ruined plenty of cartomizers because I followed the '20-25' drops method and they wouldn't hold that much; there is much variation from each atty/cart that it does make me take my time with each and every one.

I'm not going to argue. Once you know your carto and its capacity, there is no point in overfilling it, agree. But when you're first starting out, like the OP, it is safer to overfill. You can't ruin a carto by overfilling it, trust me on this one. Besides, if you don't want to waste even a drop, blow it out over your juice bottle. Zero waste. However, you will surely ruin your carto by underfilling it. A burnt carto is a bigger financial loss than a few drops of eliquid.

I fill my cartos with a syringe, it's much more accurate than counting drops. Drops come in different sizes, depending on the viscosity of the juice and the size of your dropper. For most regular size cartomizers, just a little more than 1 ml is usually enough for the first fill. I let the carto rest afterwards for at least one hour, and then I usually add 5-6 drops more and watch if the filler is absorbing it or not.

1) Don't buy cheap, crappy cartomizers. It costs more in the long run.
2) Never, never, ever underfill a brand new carto.
3) Thin, light-colored juices help cartos give the best performance and longest life.
4) A drip tip make refilling easier and keeps juice away from your mouth. (but remove it to fill, don't drip through it)
