Hey VR people. I'm getting an order in the mail today, and it includes teh black Smoktech tanks - as well, of course, as a restock on Maplewood, #7 and KPB.

Anyways, I've had a tough time with the other tanks I've tried in the past - mostly filling. Are there any videos or help available that show you how to fill?

Thanks.

I dont have any links to videos, but this is what I do....

Take the top off the carto, and fill that first (I fill it till a drop comes out the threaded end)
Install in into the tank from the bottom up, leaving the top of the tank off.
Fill the tank 3/4 way full (gotta leave room for the top)
Then I gently place the top on the tank. You will get some dripping out the bottom.

If you have had some experience with tanks and can smoothly put the top on, you can do what I do... when putting the top on... I get it lined up, then as I am pushing it on, I tip it upside down so the air bubble is around the bottom of the tank. This equilizes the pressure and I dont get more than one drop out the threaded end.

I am sure someone else might have a good technique too.... that is just the way I do it and I dont have any issues :) I do use these full time.

Vape on :)

Hello Swigger, so far I haven't found a video that does what I do but I will keep searching. I will try explaining my way in writing.

When starting with a new tank:

1st - Remove the drip tip and replace with the little white rubber plug that came in the package. This plug keeps the juice out of the carto for now.

2nd - Pull the carto down through the tank from the threaded end until you can see about a 1/8th inch gap between the top of the carto and the bottom of the top flange of the tank.

3rd - Fill the tank until the juice is level with the top of the cartomizer, then push the carto back up into place.

4th - Wipe off the top of the carto and remove the small rubber plug. Put about 8 or 10 drops of juice onto the filler inside the carto for priming.

5th - Replace the drip tip. Now suck on your drip as if you are taking a big drag, do not fire your button, just suck. You will see bubbles coming up inside the tank. This step is to completely prime the carto, without a proper prime you will get a burnt taste that sometimes wrecks the carto.

All of these steps can be done with your tank screwed onto your device also for a little easier handling. I will keep searching for a video that uses this method. Give us a call if you would like, may be easier to explain on the phone. Thank you, the VR Team.
