Filling the ZAP = Juice Everywhere!

Hey All,

I recently got a Z Atty Pro and love it...mostly.

I use a fairly fat, tight fitting wick and when I'm refilling juice will travel up the wick and gather on the top platform. I can only get the ZAP about half full before I have to wipe off the excess or it will start dripping down the side of the ZAP and my Provari.

Anyone got an easy solution I'm not seeing here?

What are you using to fill it? If you use a syringe with an 18ga blunt tip needle, there will be enough space around the needle, when it's in the fill hole, to allow air to escape as you fill.

I'm using a needle tip bottle. Not sure what the gauge is but it's quite small and really hard to get juice out of.

Use a good quality needle bottle and hold it at an angle in the fill hole so it touches the top and bottom at different points like this if you can imagine a cutaway: |//|

That'll let air through and avoid volcanos.

and also tilt it so the wick is not in the juice....that will keep it from comming out everywhere

Thanks! Those bottles are a bit expensive though, anybody got a link to cheaper ones?

$150 atty, perfectly normal.

$3 bottle, way too expensive.

Hey, I'm used to paying about 65 cents per 20ml bottle via ebay for my DIY stuff, so.......

Figured it couldn't hurt to ask!
