So finally got fed up with multiple ego's failing the wife finally gave me the green light for a provari ×). Got the extender cap, 2 18650 batteries and now just waiting for shipping. Can't wait!

As you're coming from an ego I'd be curious to hear if it takes some adjustment to get used to the size difference.
I've used nothing else since I bought mine. There's little reason unless you want variable wattage. It's solid.
To be honest I use my Ego Twist for when I go out because of it's light weight and good performance and I use my Provari at home.
