Hi all, just thought I'd share my selection and hear about y'alls as well! Also feel free to add any advice or suggestions if you've had experience with any of the gear I'm thinking about getting, thanks in advance!

Smoktech Natural APV- I like the sleek, one piece design, and the fact that the firing button is a bit more flush then some of the others, and can be used with the pinky also! Works with most 510/ego threads, good, decent reputation and performance for price point! Can be purchased for $39.95 when in stock @ Litecig, plus I have a coupon for 10% as well I believe! :)

I'm also considering getting a Smoktech Mini Zmax! Retails around $56.99. I like the way it looks BETTER than the Provari actually, and I like the small form factor, price is good, but I did read one negative review where they claimed in only worked 3 months! :( I hope that's not the case, as I think this COULD be a good, solid performing VV APV! What are y'alls thoughts, since you have an idea of my general tastes, and what I want to spend.

Also, now I just need to decide on a RBA/RDA. Right now I'm leaning towards a kayfun Lite or Russian 91%. I've also heard good things about the AGT Tit RBA, so I'm going to be checking into that. I ordered something sick looking awhile back from FT, after my first couple of test orders went well on some batteries and other accessories. It's been so long since I ordered it, I've already forgotten what it is, haha, so I'll have to check on that! So how about you, have you decided on and or waiting on your FIRST mech mod? For those of you who have already crossed over, feel free to share your experiences about your FIRST time,, as well as any pointers, suggestions, etc, you feel like sharing! Happy vaping! :vapor:

i am still waiting to buy a GP Paps V3 and/or GP Paps X V1.5 as my first mechanical mod. I cant get it till the manufacturer have one of their "Vapour Day" that they do every month or so. Their only US supplier, domovaporco.com are out of stock. Their other european dealer, vapist.net, has a stock of X but wont return any emails trying to confirm if they ship to the USA or not... Until then, I have already stock up on rda's and batteries

I'm well into mechs, even though I'm not that much of a collector. My first mech was a Kamry K100, then a SS Nemesis clone, Bagua 14500 clone, V-mod 2.0, brass Origin, and my last one, JD Tech Black Stingray. I run either a Russian 91% or a Kayfun Lite on top of anything 22mm, AGT on top of the Bagua and an Aqua on the Origin. I also have a few drippers, some with single coils, others with dual coils.

#1 rule, get a multimeter to check your batteries and builds, don't skip this step, and get good IMR batteries from well known vendors. Other than that, have fun and enjoy the wonderful world of mechs.

My mech is the Smoktech E-Pipe. I like it a lot. It's my car vape, I like the way it rides in my hand, just tucked in my palm with my thumb. I just drive with it, don't even put it down 'cause it's not in the way. I top it with a ProTank 2.
My VW is the Sigelei Z-Max Mini V3. You can get it at RTD Vapor right now for $39.99 and have it in a couple of days. I have a Taifun clone on it, and it cranks.

I did TONS of research on a vv/vw apv and decided the Sigelei ZMax V5 was the best for me and love it! You can use 18350 batteries for the small form factor, or use 18650 for more power ( it telescopes) BEST decision ever! Have had NO issues so far. Only use Sony Vtc4 and efest IMR(for 18350).

Now just waiting for my Hana 30w clone!

Good luck!

oh, and it is $47 at desertvapes, or $40 for the V3!
