I find I get nothing from real cigs anymore. I just tried one and could not bring myself to inhale it. I get nothing out of them.

It's just a shame that the officially government sanctioned method of "smoking" is to inject 2000 chemicals, 22 known carcinogens, into your body.

Didn't they ban asbestos because a few hundred people developed lung cancer?

And thats only ONE carcinogen. Imagine 22 the same government says it's OK to do.

Basically, if we can tax your cancer habit, we will. That speaks volumes of the governments indifference to human life. If doing something that will save your life is something we can't get our cut on, you can't have it. That's basically it.

The kicker excuse is when they claim that it has been untested the effects of inhaling nicotine. Lame, people have been inhaling it for centuries. I think the "tested" results using the current methods (analog smoking) kill more people than just inhaling flavored water vapor with a bit of nicotine in it. Governments needs to get their heads out of their asses.

Little surprise that the FDA wants to ban the e-cig. NOT because it's "untested" (oh God PLEASE, stop trying to save me from myself), but they haven't figured out a way of taxing it.

I love the good old USA. :D

And that is my political rant for the day. My vaping is not just to save my life, but it's a political statement now. I always thought government assisted suicide was illegal. If they can tax it, they'll have a change of heart.

Big Jim, you're saved!!!!!!!!!!! I caught something on your post, and added a little.........

I love the good old USA. :D

When the US govm't didn't tromp on every sane, thinking person, not trying to make us all march to the same drum beat, and of course specifying the make and model of the drum!

I was saved decades ago when I became friends with this dude named Jesus Christ. :thumb: He's pretty cool, but He didn't like my smoking.

Truth be known, the USA is not the same country it once was. It's pretty much like the old communist USSR but with a good PR department. We said that Russia was an "evil empire" because their goal was world domination. Look who's trying to influence the world now?

(from what I understand, e-cigs are legal in Russia)

So Vape my fellow vapers! Do not give them one thin penny more in real cigarettes!

BigJimW, I completely agree. And congrats on quitting the analogs! I'm still trying and it's proving to be harder than I thought.

I think I'll try and save enough money to buy a ton of e-cig supplies & juices, before the government starts taxing the hell out of them.

I find that quitting analogs quite easier than I thought with this e-cig. I went from two packs a day to nothing easily. And I thought I'd never stop smoking.

Maybe the FDA should read threads like this to see that e-cigs DO help in stopping smoking.

But it all boils down to tax $$$. :-x

*Telling* Uncle Sam to kiss your ... is one thing, but I would *never* bend over in front of Uncle Sam. (If you know what I mean.)

True. But then again we do not voluntarily bend over in front of Uncle Sam to "take it" like we always do.

Nothing like that raped feeling.

There is also nothing like that sweet tobacco taste without Uncle Sam dipping into my wallet. :D
