Great job!

I've been going at it longer than you but still haven't completly quit. I imeadiatly went from 2 packs a day to about a half pack a day and am just under that now. Still need the first one in the a.m. and after every meal. Hoping to get there soon, I've been using 18mg nic and am going to bump it up to 24.

Take it easy-n-at,
Jeff

That is so cool.

This morning I decided to vape for awhile instead of having my morning ciggie. In the one month that I have been vaping I have managed to cut back by more than half. It took me a couple of weeks to get the right mg juices and equipment. I have not quit smoking yet but I am trying to rely more on vaping and less on smoking. Gradually is the right way for me to quit but quitting is my ultimate goal. To tell you the truth, I wasn't sure that vaping would work because of all my previous failures at quitting and then, when I realized that I cut down by half or more without even trying, I got some more gear and now I vape more than I smoke.

Four months eh? That is awesome.

Me and the only other dude here in Bakersfield that Vapes, that I know of because I've only met him and no one else yet who does vape, still smoked TWO Cigarettes in the morning with his coffee before he gets all the way to start getting ready for the day. Guess some ROUTINES are hard to break.

The funny thing is we are creatures of habit, and we get very use to our Routines and such. I saw about 50% of quitting smoking is getting over the Rituals we associate with using Tobacco. Everybody going on a smoke break before and after lunch, during lunch, while you're waiting for the coffee maker to finish, while you're waiting for that print job to get done, on your way to the network room to see when that computer might be ready, when you are on your way for leaving for the day because they don't let you Smoke on THE BART and you don't want all the Handsome Men, like myself of course, to see that you are actually a smoker - so you really don't smoke out in public.

All These Rituals. My friend is still really into his morning routine. He even said when he travels for work and he isn't home at his kitchen table that he never gets the urge to smoke two cigarettes in the morning. For him its all 'Set & Setting' - which is just an element of his routine.

SO again, down to Zero smokes - frigen awesome.
