Snow, EHPro makes a decent clone, I have both the real thing and the clone and I wish I would have saved my money. hcigar also sells decent products as well as infinity.

I own a couple originals after seeing the clones (Magma, Brass Monkee) and in all honesty I don't think the EHpro Atomic will do you wrong.

I haven't been ballsy enough to build a coil for my IGO-M since I got my VTR. With the adaptor I can use it with the VTR though apparently. Think its worth the time?

I'm a newb and not qualified to answer any questions, that being said I've never vaped with a VTR so I don't know about taste versus my VV3. If you've dripped before and you like the taste as much without it on the VTR I can only imagine how amazing it would taste dripping, but then again if it tastes as good why bother? All my supposedly good juice was tasting like crap in my minipro2, that's why I tried dripping in the first place, if it tasted fine to me without it I never would have taken the plunge.

The IGO-L is an excellent choice for someone new to RBAs (I have three, although I've moved on to 22mm dual coil drippers). I love dripping when I'm home, but for work and out and about use, I use KFLs (another great recommendation for a RTA - rebuildable tank atomizer).

I think that a beginner should only build on regulated mods that have short circuit protection (I don't consider myself a beginner, but I always build on my Provari before moving it over to a mechanical).

Cloned RBAs are certainly cheaper than their authentic counterparts, but you have to deal with QC issues and mystery metal that I try to avoid (I should have taken pictures of the rusted post screws on a Patriot clone where the e-liquid all turned orange - I can't believe they didn't use A2 stainless steel screws).

This guy is spot on, go with a IGO-L or IGO-W. Cheap, and reliable. Youll have to drill another hole, and likely increase the size of the other though. But its a one time thing. Drill it once and your golden.

I drilled out one of the holes on my IGO W just about ten minutes ago and it made a HUGE difference in vapor and flavor production.:vapor:

I have both drilled out to 3mm and it is damn good for me. Maybe a tad airy, but really not to bad. I would probably go slightly smaller if I was going to get another but 3mm is pretty solid.

Sounds like you found the good in vaping. I also would recommend an adjustable airflow design like a clone of the Trident or a Caterpillar both easy to build on and both adjustable Leave the drilling out of air holes till you find the airflow you like. I have 2 drippers because friends drilled there units out only to find they didn't like that much air. I have a numbered and lettered drill bit set, if they would have come to me we could have drilled it out in minute steps till it was satisfying. They instead plowed 2mm bits through them and couldn't use them. LOL my gain there and I was happy to pay them for them as I like a wide open draw on drippers.

I just got into RDAs and mechs about a week ago. IGO-W and W4 with a Sentinel M16. I like my IGOs, looking into replacing my M16 for a Stingray. I can't stop rebuilding, keep adjusting and playing trying to find my perfect build. I keep one at about .2 ohms and the other around .5.. its too much fun

I recently started building again. First I had some RDA that just didn't perform, due to the air intake being too small, and in the bottom. Then I was watching some coil build videos. I decided to give it another try and invested in an original Trident V2, due to the features mentioned by others (adjustable airflow, single/dual coil able). Love that thing! Now, I'm build crazed, bought an IGO-W5 for my first dragon coil build. Two more RDAs, a Kayfun V3, Russian 91%, and a Kayfun plus V2 (all clones) are on their way to a loving home. :)

I had the same thing when I started off, I get a new Atty I build it every possible way till I find what's best on it and for me. After some time you will be able to look at the Atty design and just know the ballpark to build in. Then you'll trade building time for vaping time and that's a WIN in my book.

OMG. The experience is totally amazing. Did some research and went to my local B&M, Good Guys Vapes, with $100 and said "set me up". Walked out with a Nemesis mod, Stillare RDA and all the fixin's.

Only been vaping for 3 months and the upgrades came quickly. Got over the intimidation factor of the dripper and dove in.

I still see I'm going to want my Protank3/vv setup for the car and stealth, but at home...its RDA all the way.
