So in short...

CASA - State that an ecig is a portable electronic device.

and....every airline has their own rules on the use of portable electronic devices. Well at least you now know its not illegal to use onboard. It may be against the Airline's rules but not against the law. Just don't vape when the seatbelt sign is on :)

Cool Rottwyler, thanks for posting that link. It's good to know that they can be carried on board, even if the airlines can rule against their use on board.
That will certainly help me relax more on my next flights - in fact I shall print that off and take it with me in case I meet any problems with security :laugh:
