Mostly lurk on this forum, but I love love love the experience and help here. I don't post much because I don't have to. Anything I could think of has been explained and described in great detail. This forum is literally the best ever. I do politics, sports, guitar, etc., and nothing compares to the freely given knowledge available here.

Okay, enough love for the day - great job mods!!

7 wraps 26 guage 316L parallel dual coil 2.5mm ID FTW!!!

I've been messing with claptons, twisted, and anything else I can do with my drill. You know what?... There is no drill needed. Just take two wraps off the roll, use a pair of needle nose to hold the ends, pull it tight with a tee shirt to clean the wire, clip the ends, and wrap it. Do it again, load them up, wick with cotton bacon, and enjoy.

I'm so happy to find my build. I cannot type how much time I've spent trying to find the perfect vape. The best part.... SINGLE OR DUAL ARE PERFECT!!!!

Seriously. I make this build for my griffin and gemini, I use this coil dual. It comes to .13 or .15 ohms depending on how careful I am. .15 is my target. On a single, .27 or .3... Perfect for my mech!

So far, I have the griffin and gemini loaded with the dual coil setup for my istick 100w and my istick 60w. I have the crown and kanger subtank rba setup single for my magneto mech. All these vapes are fan ...' tastic!!

I have a melo 2 with 10 premade coils that just take up space in my cupboard. LMAO! I used to think that thing was awesome.

I diy juice mostly 80/20 - vg/pg. Blueberry, banana, banana creme, peach, orange creme, and all combinations of the above. It works perfect for these setups.

In a funny way, I have the FDA to thank. When they released their proposed regulations, I started thinking about setting up a solo operation with equipment that would survive the fallout. Before, I was content buying atomizers and buying juice from the local B&M. Thanks to the FDA, I started figuring out how to become self sufficient. Great job uncle sam! Now I DIY. I hope the rest of the world follows suite. F- the FDA. If they did half the homework I've done, there would be no issue!

I have an avocado on the way, and I can't wait to see if my build provides real flavor like should come from a top coil.

Thanks again to ECF for making me federal regulation proof. I have more nic than I will use in 3 years, and enough equipment to last me that long. Hopefully by then, we will have beaten this ridiculous attack on our health. To all the members here, I owe ten years of my life to you! How do you thank people for that? IDK, but thanks anyway!

Folks this is WHY you should learn to rebuild.

Find the best resistance to get the most out of your gear, and the best flavor out of your ejuice. There is another factor too.

CONSISTENCY of your vape.

NO premade coils with too much cotton and you get Dry hits or burn the wick, or too little cotton and the Atty floods, pops and spits Juice in your Mouth

Quoted for truth.

It's also hysterical that so many people think you need 150w and a quad alien something or another made with fencing wire to get a warm dense vape with decent clouds.

I know.

Its all about the build.

People have seen me vaping waiting for a bus, in public, and many walk up and ask to see ny power level and resistance.

The shake their head and walk off. Some say ig isnt possible

I say sure it is.

I wrap good coils and I vapde a 70% VG EJUICE.

i am about to rebuild my avocado 24 so will give a 7 wrap 316L parallel dual coil 2.5mm ID a try :)
Let me know how it turns out.. I'm impatiently waiting.

CONSISTENCY of your vape.
+1 I've been on a mission to find it. I have a full time, 3kids, and a wife to tend to. I need a plan that I know works. That way I can execute fast and get back to the more important things in life.

Somewhere between 40 and 50 watts. Leaves me room to go higher if I feel the need or lower if I am trying to be sneaky. To me, and maybe I'm wrong, the more complicated builds seemed to make the equipment hotter, use battery faster, take longer to build, and provide no benefit I could see over a simple parallel wrap. The biggest I've done were quad claptons. I'm lucky I didn't burn out every o-ring on my griffen. It took forever to make the wire and squeeze the build in. It was a great vape, but I found myself reaching for the mech with a parallel wrap on it because it didn't get so hot. Less fuss, and more vape for the win.
