single coil in a G2 deck??

Okay everyone, I have never built dual coils before. I prefer the basic single coil build at about .5ohm. My question is... Can I build a single coil in a deck that is meant for dual coils?? My concern is draining my battery with doing a dual build. and I am afraid that if I build a single coil in it I will have issues with leaking or something else. I just purchased the smok TF RTA which is a tank I have never used before so some input on this would be great. Thanks.

Building a singlecoil is possible, but not advisable on the TF-RTA, because it is more of a hassle than building dual coils.

Kanthal A1 26ga with 7 wraps and an inner diameter of 3mm will come out at roughly 0.5ohms in dual coil config.

I had a horrible time with my tf-rta. It leaked on me whatever I did, so I'd imagine it would be even worse if trying to use it with a single coil. In any case, you'll have a much better time building on a dedicated single-coil RTA.
