I know this may not be significant to this thread or anybody anymore, but I finally found a way to post some pics. I have been trying since I started this thread, while I was at work till 0430 am and since I work up today. So here it is, mostly for my satisfaction, ;). These are just the gear I listed in the OP.

Zero hotcig sx350 w/ Tugboat V2 dual 24GA parallel 3mm@.18ohm & Kangxin VF 40 w/ UD Goblin 26GA 2.5mm @.26 ohm

Derringer on Infinite Stingray X. Haven't used the Stingray in several months but took it out the day to run the Derringer for that afternoon. May clean it up and use it again, looks good topped like that.

Juiced up with some Honeydew, watermelon and whipped cream. Also ran a 26GA parallel 2mm before this but realized the room i had left over in this little guy.

Thanks Sir2fyablyNutz, we must have posted at the same time just now. I am glad I finally found a way, as soon as I gave in to start posting I almost backed out being so frustrated. < Not true just joking, it ended up being the only way I could post was with tinypic by rescaling down to 640x480 and removing the IMG tags before submitting the pic in the post.

Nice setups you got there. I just got a VF clone myself, the waidea one but the ohms are jumping all over the place. I'm thinking it may or maynot be the grounding issue. Dont know wether to open it up or return... sorry I just started rambling there on you thread .

 Very nice setups though

No problem, ramble on. You can see in the pic the goblin is leaned to the side the 510 on the VF was loose after a day and would come out until it hit the negative wire soldered to the 510. Since I was following the huge VF thread that was going on recently, I figured I could fix it instead of going through the return process and waiting again after it took over a month to get mine from 3fv. I took the top off there was no lose connections on the ground or power, the hot glue wasn't holding letting the 510 slide out so I hot glued the hell out of it, trimmed the excess and sanded down the coating where the top and body made contact and put it back together. I let it set over night was happy with it brought it to work and a hour later the same problem. I took the top off again and used some epoxy left the top off while it set overnight, put it back together confident this would hold and the next day it happened again. But not as loose this time because I had so much built up on the underside of the 510 thinking if it didn't bind that it would stop it from moving out again. I kinda gave up and only use it sparingly, but I am finding the Derringer not being top heavy it doesn't look as bad on

I've been reading the very very big :) VF thread also. I'm thinking I might just fix it rather than go through the returns process. Might change the 510 to a FD aswell as the waidea's dont come with spring loaded pin.

Have you thought of replacing the 510? It might make it a bit more stable for you to use.

Welcome to the forums. I also don't have vaper friends out here in the analog world. All my vaper peeps are digital
So after a few months of lurking I came across a problem I couldn't find a thread for and decided I would sign up and ask. The rest is ECF history.

I would love to change it out but I haven't seen a 510 that's a good fit. I thought someone said in the VF thread the fat daddy low pro was still to deep to fit without hitting the top battery contact or wires and would have to make some modifications. Do you have any 510s that you can take the top off and put next to the original and see if there depth is greater or not?

Thanks, I run into that all the time and always tell myself when I got the time to start the first step process of posting. Then I just move on and say maybe later. I'm glad I finally did though. Hope it helps you in your vape journey also.

I know in the waidea the fat daddy's v3 shorty not sure about the kangxin I think there is less space. I dont have a 510 at the moment as I dont usally mod mod's but I loving the VF so much I'm thinking maybe I should start. I think the kangxin is better to put an authentic DNA40 board inside.

I haven't had any problems with the voltage applied jumping around or the ohms readings jumping. The voltage applied is maybe .02 or .03 lower then the zero I have with the same atty and type of battery but not enough to really make a difference. I do hate the adjustable 510 if your atty backs of just a little when taking the top cap off to drip or taking a tank off to refill you will have to adjust it again. It really drives me up the wall, it shouldn't I do keep a knife on me at all times. I haven't really used it in temp mode no longer then a day here and there. I do 28 Guage twisted around a 3mm bolt but the vape is too cool and when I put the temp up over 410 to get a warm vape it will burn the cotton so it's useless to me. I haven't given up on temp because I have a Silo Beast that finally shipped an hour ago after waiting 3 weeks for it to stock. I'm order some nickel Atlantis coil heads for it tonight. Hopefully that will spark my interest back in temp control and get me to order different gauges of nickel and try again, maybe some TI wire and give that a go.
