Finally going mech+RDA...need input!

Ok, so I have 3 VV/VW devices, been around the block with cartos/clearos, etc. It's time to get into mechanicals and dripping. I am well versed in VV/VW hardware, but not so much with mechs. Need some help from some more seasoned mech users.

Wants:

-Genuine (no clones preferrably)
-Gorgeous craftsmanship
-I like the gold/silver mixed look
-Probably prefer side fire, but could cope with bottom, as long as it locks
-Durability

Aa far as the rda topper, I'd obviously like it to look great with my mod, and have a deck that is easy to work with. I also prefer my vape on the cooler side. Craftsmanship and build quality is also important here. Would love pics with suggestions as well!

Price is open, I want what I want and I'll pay for it. I'd like to stay around or under $250 total, but I'd stretch it for the right setup. Also, for what its worth I currently use AW IMR 18650 2000mAh batteries.

If I was going to get something with "gorgeous craftsmanship" and the gold/silver mixed look with a side button, I would get a podiac mech mod with a zenith rda. both of those come with a gold/silver mix and look really good. They do have a polished finish so they will be a fingerprint magnet. But I would imagine they would look amazing together considering its a 22mm tube with a 22mm rda. Oh and, if you havent heard already, the zenith is "SICK AS ...."

I have been eyeing the poldiac. Also interested in the GUS Lord...man that thing is purdy. Also currently fighting the urge to get a ZenKote Provari (when they have more).

Edit: I've come to terms with the bottom fires...seems like most mechs are this way...I'm sure it's not too bad to get used to.

I love the look of bottom firing mods and I have a bunch of them (clones). I hate how the locking rings on my clones (besides the nemesis so far) have a tendency to get stuck. I have a poldiac clone and LOVE its button. So much so that buying a real poldiac is on my to-do list. Though I just ordered the GUS Lord so go figure.

Another thing I like about the Poldiac is you can buy it at your leisure since they seem to always have it in stock. Gus Mods are like this as well. This is a big plus in my book as almost everything else has a waiting list.

Which RDAs look best on the Lord? Right now I'm looking at the patriot for it, don't know a ton of drippers off hand so open to suggestions!

Don't feel bad bce22 mine are all also clones. My King Brass is by far my favorite one and I have a few. I am always on the lookout for one of the real deals! So far way out of my price range.

if I was going to buy a authentic I would grab a nemesis and kayfun and sony 30amp. looks nice and is a great performing mech

I follow form and function as a rule even for my clones. Therefore I suggest the Trident V2 RDA. It is a very good rebuild-able at a very nice price.

Just my two cents here but if I might suggest you get your feet wet with an Hcigar King and a Trident V2 both clones just to see how it gos. And yes by all means buy some good batteries. The Sony 30 amp or even the Efest (purple) 35 amps.

I swear by 101 Vapes. The only reason I didn't say buy a Neme is because of the fickle switch that you will have problems out of. Have to add a switch magnet kit ect, and the King is vape ready out of the box.
