thread locker won't interfere with conductivity as it will be on the inside of the button

and both ends of my button are round,,no using a socket of any kind possible

If so I would prefer the soft jaws pliers. ( those with the plastic/rubber jaws)
If you can't get them from any reason, then very very carefully wrap yours with thick cloth,
And use them carefully to tight.
I will not consider use of thread locker on a GG.

Yes it is on the inside. However I have used thread locker on an old GGTS button and it made operation a pain in the backside. Basically I had to push the button at an angle to get it to fire properly. I am thinking the reason for this is because the shaft of the button is a bit narrower then the button housing hole it goes through. With the tension of the spring it doesn't always touch the side of said hole. And because of the thread locker the connection between the shaft and the button head isn't that great either.

That being said if you can't get it tight enough with some sort of rubber assistance to grab the parts You could put a tiny o-ring inside the button head. The extra tension could help keep the threads tighter.

i was thinking something else when i said that ,,

so i imagine there is no real way to do this then ??

also,i am wondering what U.S. based GG suppliers there are ?? seems COV is out of the GG business now

Den, the solution is easy. Keep with pliers the head of the pin and use non slippery gloves (buy them from pharmacy for 5 euros per 100 pieces) to screw the head. There is no way for the button to get unscrewed again:)

duh ,,why didn't i think of that ?? guess imeo would be the one to know ALL the tricks of his little beauty

Such a simple solution but so important. I haven't been on the forum in quite a while but actually dropped in because I was having a similar problem with the button on one of my GGTS's. And wouldn't you know it, right there on the first page of the forum was the answer I needed. Thanks Imeo!!!
